What do you get your pet for Christmas?

Nothing for the day, cat will be hid up for most of it avoiding an excitable DS, but this is the first year I have brought him an advent calendar

Dog stockings - they get about six from various people - squeaky toys from the pound shop, maybe a new collar or jacket if it's cold.
And a few tasty treats too.
I even wrap the presents up and let the dogs open them.
Sad or what...?0 -
I usually wrap the presents but end up opening them myself so this year I'm just gift bagging them. I hadn't thought about the pound shop for squeaky toys, they only last a few hours so I guess I could buy a couple each from there this year. Thank you

You're welcome:)0 -
Our little westie is 14 years old now. If anyone knows of a hearing aid for dogs, I'd be very interested because it must sound like we're all abusing her terribly when we're trying to call her in... she's as deaf as a post
.
Otherwise, some very bland nibbly bits of chicken and a thermal blanket will be her lot.
As the cats view the Christmas tree complete with tinsel and dangly bits as their personal playground anyway, I'm not going to bother with anything (else) for them *sighs*I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Well Barnes loves Dreamies and Webbox treat sticks - so he will be getting those plus any toys which I think he may like!0

I must be a bad owner; they get they same love and care as they get every other day, with a routine that they know and are comfortable with.

Mine are so spoilt I don't know what to get them. They have treats constantly (I tend to homemake liver treats or peanut ones for the dog) and my dog has a toy basket bigger than most kids. She isn't the type of dog that rips things apart either so they just gotta more and more over the years.
They tend to have chicken anyway (dogs on raw) so christmas dinner isn't a big deal. Maybe I will get some dog gravy and allow a couple pigs in blankets haha.
Am trying to find some natural dog treats (like them to be high meat content and low in cereal). All the ones recommended to me she hasn't liked. Like the likes of pizzle sticks and dog bones or any dog treats. She likes schmackos but thats about it. She is only little so can't really eat big treats like.
Can anyone recommend anything? Tried fish4dogs and she hated them haha. Was thinking maybe James Wellbeloved crackerjackers or whatever they called.
Or anyone have a nice dog friendly recipe for a christmas snack or treat?0 -
Yesterday I got our two little buns a Christmas garland, a bark/wood Christmas tree and a corrugated cardboard house from Pets@home.
Spoilt little monkeys. Although this Christmas they will still be in their cages, having not been neutered and being in their prime so to speak. Cannot wait till next year when they are freer to roam (we let them out one at a time for a few hours in total each day). 0
