Sorry, this is my fault, she has his address, of course, but she doesn't know where in the states he s, if that makes sense. Says it's called Tobysomethingorother. She could be saying that just for my benefit, as she whispers a lot, in case anyone overhear, and it may be that she doesn't quite trust me not to tell anyone whee he is... Why anyone would ask me, who knows? Basically she's convinced if the authorities find out where he is, they'll have him arrested and the children removed from his care.
It seems that the new wife has now successfully adopted the children, oh and could he have $1500 dollars for rent, but if he can't afford the rent, he can buy the place for $500....!!!!!!?
Anyhoo, I told her she can't afford it, the wife should claim whatever she's entitled to and if she has adopted the children she'll doubtless be entitled to help with their needs too.
He was also on about a car, sayingg the wife has a car, but if she's out, he's stuck. I said if they can't afford the rent, they can't afford to run a car, and if they can afford to e gallivanting, they should be able to pay their way. She agrees, but in the next breath says maybe they can manage of she sends a little instead of a lot... Sigh.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

Eh? that's kind of the whole point of an address...it gives the location of something.0 -

It doesn't make sense, the state, and the area of the state will be in the address, even if sent from within America.
To see a states location on a map if its a lesser known state would be easy, as well as to find out what the general climate ( in all senses) is.0 -
GT - nothing you have posted about her and her son makes one single iota of sense. Somewhere somebody is having their leg pulled at best, fantasising at worst. In your shoes I'd be taking a step back, especially as you feel she doesn't trust you..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
Really?!!
GT, this story is getting weirder and wilder by each telling.
Tobysomethingorother might even be in Scotland.....
She's asking for help and advice but too paranoid to give anyone the whole story? Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

Lol, I'm not explaining it very well... I mean, she'll know the state, but she doesn't know where in the states it is i.e, 'I wish he'd go back to where he was before, it was warmer there. He needs his medication where he is now, he has no immunity.' But she doesn't seem to have any idea where in the USA these regions are.
None of it makes sense to me, I presume she's just repeating things he tells her, it doesn't make sense to her either, which is why she keeps asking m to check and see 'what's what'.
I very much get the impression that she can manage day to day ~ work, car, bills, mortgage etc., but any understanding outside her own world is non existent. I also think she's been very isolated, her mother died 10ish years ago, her father when she was a girl, she has no siblings, her husband died when her child was tiny, she has one child and never met another fella. I think the son likes to keep her isolated, I get the impression that he would 'go ballistic' if he knew she was talking to anyone about it all.She uses that phrase a lot about his response to things he doesn't approve of.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

A map wouldn't hurt, eh?gravitytolls wrote: »None of it makes sense to me, I presume she's just repeating things he tells her, it doesn't make sense to her either, which is why she keeps asking m to check and see 'what's what'.
Trying to fathom what's what with the nonsense she's given you so far hasn't got you very far, has it?gravitytolls wrote: »I very much get the impression that she can manage day to day ~ work, car, bills, mortgage etc., but any understanding outside her own world is non existent.

Just how is such ignorance of the world possible? She has two jobs, gets to talk to people every day, must know something about current affairs - if she's capable of looking out for herself "~ work, car, bills, mortgage etc" she's not too stupid.gravitytolls wrote: »I think the son likes to keep her isolated, I get the impression that he would 'go ballistic' if he knew she was talking to anyone about it all. He's supposedly in another country - how is he keeping her so isolated and so what if he goes ballistic?
It sounds like one of those lottery scams, where they warn you to keep your prize a secret until they've verified your bank accounts/DOB/passwords. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
I don't want to cause offense, but...do you even know for sure she actually has a son? Could she be fabricating all of this?0
-
Why would she think he's in danger of being arrested if she thinks he has a visa to live there? And his wife has adopted illegal immigrants?
And it's pretty easy to type in an address on google maps and see where it is. You know, like on the tablet he sent her that was apparently the price of the plug for it..0 -
He has no immunity? In that case he'll be dead in a week and all her troubles will be over!.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0
