my boyfriend wants us to put them up 6th November, as according to him that's the official 'its Christmas time' day (he loves Christmas TOO much)
Im hoping to hold out for at least another 2 weeks or so!!:wave:0 -
My ideal would be to put it up on Christmas eve and take it down on boxing day,but tend to make a thing of it on my daughters birthday 7th Dec and then take it down after new years day.0

We used to do it the second Sunday in December but I often don't have the children then but this year it will be the 8th or 7th.. whichever. I have the children that weekend. I take it down asap after new year to reclaim my house! I often put up lights and tinsel before then though.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Its November for goodness sake what is wrong with everyone! Christmas happens at the end of December . Ours goes up by tradition on Christmas Eve and down on Twelfth Night... Put up now no one even notices it by Christmas whereas coming down on Christmas morning to a sparkly tree is so nice and exciting..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
