Well done on the Frog-munching, Dusty.
I'm having lunch with a friend today, who set the time she was going to pick me up at 11.00am - rather early I thought, but hey ho. She's just phoned to say that rather than 11.30 (!), could we make it12.00? Which, of course, means an extra hours flying. Stairs done, floors being done. WM on, DW on, front door about to be tackled and then floors that need washing will be done.
I'll paint nasty stuff on oven floor this afternoon and run the DW with cleaner in it at the same time.Better is good enough.0 -
Hope LameWolf and Mr LW enjoyed Thor as much as I did
As we're stuck in awaiting a bulky delivery, looks like I can have a go at any room in the flat apart from the hallway, bathroom and kitchen. Hallway is clear, bathroom will be a temporary bicycle store  and kitchen is where the bulky item will be located...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Postman is nearby so I'm leaving the last 4 houses in my road until he's called. I'm expecting a delivery which is the start of the proper festive shopping
It was dispatched 2 days ago so there is a chance it may turn up today based on past experience
Plan for today is:
[STRIKE] Now-9.30 latest: Prepare calling book, make sure I have everyone on the list this time[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 9.30-10 : Collect books[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 10-11: Sort through books/orders, work out what to put on a note to a customer who's being cheeky about something [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] 11-12.30: Collect books/put cards through saying I'll call tonight[/STRIKE]
12.30-1pm : lunch
1-2pm: sort through any more books/orders/rewrite calling book ready for tonight/admin
2-4pm: Flying
4-6pm: Nag DD to get her homework done (project due tomorrow and almost done I hope!) and remind her that a full colour background on her presentation is a no go for printing especially at full A4 pages:mad:, tea, ironing,
6pm-???: Collect books / sort through books/orders
???-9pm: Nag DD about homework & getting it printed / Chase DD to bed
9pm-10pm: Me time, with a large hot chocolate & a TV programme.
About to put the TD on, make lunch (I'm suddenly very hungry!) and watch one of my programmes, then I'll go see the other customers and continue with my list.According to my pedometer I've done 7500 steps...I think its a little too sensitive as I can't have really done that many. Bet if I put it on the less sensitive setting it'd say 200 steps :rotfl:

Washing on the maiden as no breeze at all here, think I'll wash the cat beds next
Spent the entire morning chatting with my friend.
Going to do the policies now whilst finishing lunch and then do a HH of flying before settling to the curtains.
DS1 has raked some of the leaves from the back lawn, I'm tempted to try to mow it in a bit although it is very damp. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Big frog munched. Got up early and tackled spare room as it was becoming a nightmare. One pile for CS. Pile to go to DDs and a rubbish pile. Window cleaned and room hoovered and dusted. I could hear a rustling sound and the ginger ninja had figured how to open the under bed storage and was snuggled in a sleeping bag. Lol. Had to use treats to entice him out.
Been shopping with DD now waiting for roofer who said I won't be long an hour and a half ago.0 -
Hello everyone - still here - flying but not posting so much.
I was having a major sort of the pantry and came across 3 bags of popcorn kernels. Rather than feed them to the chooks, I ran up a chicken doorstop from an offcut from curtains that I'd made, and filled it with the popcorn :j How's that for decluttering:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

November Challenge Update: Mr LW brought the archive boxes down yesterday; we weeded out a BIG pile for shredding and archived a somewhat smaller pile from the "current" binders (I get most things in virtual form these days); and Mr LW re-lofted the boxes, out of the way. I'm partway through the shredding, which is taking an age because our shredder is a bit hinky; there's our personal boxes/binders still to do, and the virtual stuff, but as it's only 7th today, I think we're well on track. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
