    Morning!

Still in bed here. Had reasonable amount of sleep:T need to get DS ready for school soon. They've had snack in bed but need proper breakfast.

    Today I will:
Sort out DD meds, we are getting confused and I think her tummy is struggling, I will weigh her and double check everything. We need to go to the uniform shop, DS needs another sweater and I'll get DD a cardi for new year. Also need a small grocery shop. Then I will tackle the garage counter!

Hope you all have a peaceful day X

Eurgh 6am wake up call due to DD not having done her baking homework for this morning. My kitchen is now covered in sesame seeds so she'd better clear it up as I did actually mop the kitchen floor on Monday :o.
Off to check lists and see what to do today :).

ETA: realised that DH had put our bedroom curtains back up at about 2 am when I rolled over and it wasn't so bright in our room.

ETA: WM x1 done. TD almost finished. Actually, now finished! Better fold that and get on after catching up!

    :hello: Good morning all

Just lost a post  - typing on Kindle and have sore finger so will keep this short!

Brilliant flying Skinty :T. Hope your DS recovers quickly.

Computer repair man is most impressed that my old PC is still functioning (just!) despite major injection of plaster dust :o. I will have to buy new laptop sooner than planned - but not until we have finished sanding down and painting!!!

Windows upstairs are open to help plaster to dry. More furniture Tetris this morning, to clear bedroom 2 ready for plastering while we are away at weekend.

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all, as needed

    Morning all :D

Just noticed the time so this will be a quick one! Paid stuff today, outside for about half of it. I'm glad its dry, just need to decide whether to don baseball cap or sunglasses

    Plan for today is:
Now-9.30 latest: Prepare calling book, make sure I have everyone on the list this time :o
    9.30-10 : Collect books
10-11: Sort through books/orders, work out what to put on a note to a customer who's being cheeky about something
11-12.30: Collect books/put cards through saying I'll call tonight
    12.30-1pm : lunch
1-2pm: sort through any more books/orders/rewrite calling book ready for tonight/admin
    2-4pm: Flying
4-6pm: Nag DD to get her homework done (project due tomorrow and almost done I hope!) and remind her that a full colour background on her presentation is a no go for printing especially at full A4 pages:mad:, tea, ironing,
    6pm-???: Collect books / sort through books/orders
???-9pm: Nag DD about homework & getting it printed / Chase DD to bed
9pm-10pm: Me time, with a large hot chocolate & a TV programme. ;)

Just realised I paused the WM while I listened to something on the news this morning then forgot to switch it back on an hour ago :wall: That's now back on and will hopefully be finished before I'm ready to leave. Time to go and find my "books put out" list and get it written up, then cross off the books I've already gotten back. Then I should go get dressed :rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Morning all, restless night so a little tired this morning :(
I have an appointment to collect my new glasses this morning so can't really start any big jobs.
DW on, washing on airer still not quite dry so haven't bothered to load the WM again. Need to find a better drying location for the airer
I'm going to nip back to my parents today after my appointment as I started the front of the jumper but as it has a picture to be incorporated and it's the first time I've joined in other colours mid row I'm not sure I'm doing it right, the stitches seem a bit tight :o

I'm going to get meat out for tonight's dinner and get started on some jobs :hello:

Dusty I did some makeshift fleece blinds for the ensuite and downstairs loo windows last week. They are only narrow windows so used small tension rods and one fleece blanket each. I folded the blanket in 3 lengthways until it was the correct width, then I measured the drop and folded there. I did a good sized hem (about 5in) to slot the rod through.

I then stitched 2 buttons to the top of the neat side (actually on the hem) and two large loops of elastic in the same place on the back. Up at the window I can roll them up and hook the elastic round and over a button to hold the roll in place, then when its dark I unhook the elastic and they roll back down! With just 2 buttons for decoration!

They don't look too bad, for an amateur...

Last winter I used safety pins to fasten fleece to the back of DS curtains and it worked at treat!

Just having a cuppa, have tidied round kitchen, had been a bit of a dumping ground. DD doesn't want to go out but we'll have to really. Getting low on milk etc.

    Then its garage time!

Oh, just seen DS friends mum, she's taken the day off for the next training day and can DS go over to play for the day to keep his pal company :T

I will offer to do the next one (must check calendar!)
