Kaz well done on the shopping.

I so need to get my head around Christmas. Family troubles have given me a mental block on it. I have nothing for DS3 (11) at all and very few ideas what he would like. Not much other than basics for the others either and not a bean for anybody in the wider family.

Going to make some soup now and then do some ironing.

Thanks DK, just got cards to do now, I have them, just got to put pen to card so to speak.

My dear adopted gs has been on the phone today:- 'kaz, can I put the tree up now?'
Me 'no it is far too early' ' wait till I get there'
AGS ' well there is one in the shop down the road' and it has sweets on it!
Me ' I'll be there is 4 weeks, so we can do it together'

Any way the conversation went on, and he thinks that 4 weeks is an age away, and doesn't see why he has to wait etc etc blah blah blah!:rotfl::rotfl: he is 10 years old, he also request I sent the santa video thing to his 2 year old sister this year, as he doesn't need it any more.

I'm in exactly the same boat - DS has requested that we make a donation to him setting himself up with tools for his job. DD1 will want a plethora of books and I have no ideas for the rest of us...

    Lots if hugs to Jazee.

Have had a crazy few days but have just managed to catch up with the thread. Nice to see some newbies.

Have had to see the doctor as since the summer my shoulders are so painful and all my other muscles have joined in. Now need a blood test but no appointment available for 2 weeks and then it will be another week before I can see the doctor again to get the results. In the meantime life is difficult.

Had to go to J£P to get a new combi microwave as the old one gave up the ghost. Have had a lazy afternoon to recover some of my lost oomph.

I have to thank all you girls. You are the most fantastic motivation and really get me in the right frame of mind. I shall get a wiggle on tomorrow morning.

I've had a bath. Combination of digestive biscuits for tea (= post sugar slump), too hot bath water and having left for work at 6am and I feel very groggy. Really should dry my hair before I nod off. Hope its a peaceful night.

But I did wash the bath after, and cleaned sink and loo while 'twas running. And I'd done another wash - mostly pegged in airing cupboard (was a 30 min cycle of lots of socks...)

Can hardly keep my eyes open...

Been out to see a customer tonight in the rain and tried out my new coat, its massive (deliberately bought it big so I can stick a jumper on under it in the bitter cold weather ;)) but is lovely and comfortable. I'm working all day tomorrow and *touch wood* the weather is forecast to be dry unlike the past few days :j

I'm going to do a HHI before I head to bed. I want to get DD's school blouses done at least started since she seems to have lost the ability to do anything other than homework without a lot of nagging

Been to Specs@vers again today, DS managed to break another pair of glasses, that makes 7 pairs in about 8 months :eek: but on the upside I have ordered mine....

DS been swimming and it has knocked him out AT THE SAME TIME AS DD4:D:D:D:D:D so I have been flying like a woman possessed :rotfl::rotfl:

Found DS missing lunchbox, which was under his old wooden cot in my room out of line of side.....thank goodness I always check his lunchbox, it was empty :rotfl:

Checked my energy spreadsheet, and with the effort everyone is making, the electricity saved is just offsetting the fact I have had to put the heating on :money:

Pleased to have my own car back again, so tomorrow I can de-clutter my car bits out of the utility and have them back in the car where they are needed most. I will also need to spend half our in porch cleaning it out and generally tidying it up......there are crutches that need to be returned to minor injuries, so I might sling them in the car and whizz them through when I take DS to nursery tomorrow.
The cold never bothered me anyway
