    I've been Money Tipped!
    I love Daisy and Grace.

My niece is Grace Louise, my Daughter is Maisie Grace. With reference to the Daisy Boo name we always refer to our Daughter as Maisie Moo - my mum said she will get a complex, but my little sister was always called Livvy Loo and she doesn't think she is a toilet!!

Other names you may not have thought about:
    Molly
    Holly
    Eva
    Ava
Ebony Why? Would it fit a blonde, blue eyed girl?
Sally Why not Sarah or Sarah?
    Cara
    Kate Katherine / Catherine?
    Phoebe
    Emily
    Amelia.

Please do come back and tell us what you have chosen.

Why the trend for giving children the shortened versions of names... why not give them the formal version, call them the shortened cutesy version whilst they are young and then let them choose when they get older.

    It's not a pet you're naming but a person.
    :hello:

Think that all of the names are good and I know mum of two how hard it is to pick a name.

I rule I was given was to try to find a name that was difficult to rhyme anything with.

School play grounds can be brutal so no Luke who sinks of p!!!
    No Racy Gracy
Sorry !!! but Bella looks like a fella?

I would go for Daisy fab name and no-one in our office could find a bad rhyme.
Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A

You could put a rhyme with any name - for example, I went to Brownies with a girl called Maria who was called "Maria Diarrhea", she changed her name to Jacqueline and was called "Jackie the Paki".

Yes it is a person, I don't think I have suggested anything wrong for a baby girl......which name is a pets name, as after all, most pets name are boys and girls names!

Which are shortened names, Kate is a name in itself and I know many Kate's christened as Kate, not Katherine. I love the name Kate, but not Katherine.

    Rose, Violet?

I really like Iris and Ivy. Iris however is becoming very popular and even Ivy has moved into the top 100 names, from being up in the 800s!

Rose does seem to have fallen out of favour actually. Quite a lot of girls named Rosie around but not so many named Rose anymore. Violet to me sounds like an old lady but old lady names seem to be very fashionable at the moment!

Credit where credit is due! I bow down to the rhyme master lol

OP go with which ever you prefer. But I am still routing for Daisy !

Those names remind me of the old telly show 'keeping up appearances'
