If choosing Bella, remember this film star:

So personally I would go for Isabella, shortening it to Bella, or Elizabeth shortening it to Ella, that way you get the name you love your child to be, but they can have their grown up identity in whatever path of life they wish to go down.
I will probably be panned by people who think me dull, but just looking at the practicalities later in life.
I agree with Isabella - she could be Ella or Bella from that name.
Congratulations by the way![0 -

I have always liked Ella and would probably name my daughter that if I had had children (I am too old now).0

Congratulations on your new baby....
My preferences for baby names are:
- no double barrel like Daisy-May etc
- no dodgy spellings like Dayzee etc
- make sure you look at how just the initials would fit together and don't spell BOG or something else embarrassing.:hello:0 -
I was just thinking without a surname we don't know how it would sound I like Ella best of these.
Congratulations :beer:0 -
Eleanor = Ella, Elly, Laney, Nelly, Nora - and quite a few more.
Bella will be turned into Belly and Daisy was fashionable a few years ago so there's loads of 'em..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -

They don't need to worry. My niece is an Isabella and she frequently gets called Isobel, Isabelle, Izabell........ And that's just by family members!!!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Ella.
Bella is too popular and I do prefer Isabelle.
Daisy reminds me of a cow, sorry. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Out of the three, Ella.
Daisy, far too twee over the age of 5
Bella, for some reason makes me think of an old ladyAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
