plumface,You (and the OP) are ONLY complaining because you paid more than you needed to because you are unable to do any research. Do not complain after the event.
You 2 (and it appears only you 2) are the only ones to be complaining about this sales method.
The fact is I am the OP, it just goes to show how closely you have read this post. You haven't even responded to the points I've raised yet. Why? Because you haven't got anything of substance to say.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. It is the same analogy. And the poster has obviously read the original post.

Oh my god, you really don't get what this post is about at all do you. It's not the same analogy. I think you should go away now before you make a big fool of yourself.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. What have i not responded to?
You still have not said what the rip off is.
What the scam is.
What is illegal.
It appears you are consciously and continually avoiding the above questions that you yourself raised.
The following springs to mind with your online shopping habits....

Let me try to write a correct simple analogy for plumface and the other guy who didn't get it.
You walk into Asda to buy a tin of peas. There seems to be a lot of stock on the shelves, but it's all cardboard cut outs, a façade. In fact, there is no stock.
In fact, what you have walked into isn't even in Britain, you've walked into a place based on a different continent run by an Israeli guy.
You say, "Can I have a tin of peas please?", and he says, "Yes, of course, but I don't stock them. Go home and wait and you will get an expensive tin from a different company that you can't choose and hopefully will remain a mystery who it is."
So, you go home and wait, and "low and behold!" True to his word, a Tesco tin of Peas turns up costing about double what it would have cost, had I gone into Tesco and bought it. And strangely enough, it never even passed through the hands of the guy in Israel.
Now, if anyone else has trouble grasping this, please let me know before chiming in.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0 -
The point the poster is trying to get across, something that you either cannot see or dont want to see, is that you are only complaining (and the others in your link on your op) because of the price. They paid more for an item than they had to. It is their own fault and should not complain about it afterwards.ballisticbrian wrote: »Oh my god, you really don't get what this post is about at all do you. It's not the same analogy. At a quick glance through this thread it would appear only 1 poster has a complaint against dropshipping, and that was because of a returns problem.
YOU, are the only person here who thinks it is a rip off and a scam.
Can you not see something here?Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!0 -

Wrong. Your whole premise is wrong.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0 -

I think you need to go back and read the original post because you don't understand it.

Doesn't really seem to work.
I walk down the high street past Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco and decide to pop into "Super Shop".
I browse the shelf of all the different tins of peas and find a brand im happy with at a price im willing to pay. I write down the code on a piece of paper and give it to the checkout person. I pay the money and am told to wait outside and someone will bring to out to me.
Two minutes later im handed that tin of peas, however I notice a sticker on the bottom saying it was originally from Asda at a slightly cheaper price.
Oh well, that will teach me to walk past Asda in future without checking their prices! Ive still got the tin of peas im happy with at a price I was happy to pay. Could have got them cheaper, but that was my own fault.0
