Regarding lending criteria, I thought i'd just add my situation for interest. I've got 2 other cards, one with a 0% balance on and one with MBNA that gives 0.5% or something like that for purchases. I've had the MBNA card for about 5 years and always paid off fully and i've had the 0% for about 6 months and overpay the minimum.0

Just applied and been approved for the card linked at http://www.luma.co.uk/cashback-credit-card-ctrl/?channel=display&m=VTS&cam=Cashback&k=finance
Approved! Will see if I get the cashback one too...5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017

I applied last week from the above link. In the credit agreement and once logged on Cap 1s website, it all showed up with a cashback section. My wife got a separate card at same time and has spoken to Cap1 during card activation and had hers confirmed was Cashback. Just got the actual card which just has LUMA on it so have made a test purchase at Sainsburys to check the cashback is working.
I can see available balance has dropped, but does anyone know at what point the cashback be indicated?0 -
The Luma Cashback Card is currently unavailable. We aim to bring it back in the New Year. In the meantime why not apply for our original Luma Card here

First, it should say at the end of your Terms and Conditions.
Then online should show:-
Your cashback summary
Amount we owe you £10.33
Amount we last paid you £0.00 When we last paid you
Paid this year £0.00
How often you're paid Annual0 -
The cashback is indicated once the payment clears on the online system0

I applied for the Luma credit card, following the link in an MSE eNewsletter, and was successful in receiving a Luma Capital One Credit Card which I used at supermarkets and petrol stations to the value of £226. I then stopped using the card and awaited my first statement.
When it arrived, I queried with Capital One the absence of any reference to Cashback Earned So Far in my statement, which should have been £9.
I received an email apologising for its absence and informing me that many had suffered the same issue and not to worry it would all be credited to my account by January 2014.
To my amazement, I then received a phone call from Capital One and was informed that the account I held was a 'standard' credit card account and that there was nothing they could do about my 'lost' rebate.
£9 lost.
Now, as far as I was concerned, it was the 4% cashback card that I had applied for from the link. There was nothing to suggest otherwise.
I have now promptly closed this valueless account.
Anyone else had the same issue?0 -

Anyone else had the same issue?
No, but then I checked my credit agreement and letter.
Did you not bother to check the agreement they sent you?0
