Just checked my statement and can see the CashBack is now showing on my statement, so can go ahead and use it up to £225 per statement now. I had noticed on the agreement it stated you will be enrolled in Capital Ones Rebate scheme, but I still wanted to see it on my account actually working. Just have to get my wife to test hers now, then train her in selecting the appropriate Cashback credit card for best payback (the hard bit lol).0

I then stopped using the card and awaited my first statement.
When it arrived, I queried with Capital One the absence of any reference to Cashback Earned So Far in my statement, which should have been £9.
I received an email apologising for its absence and informing me that many had suffered the same issue and not to worry it would all be credited to my account by January 2014.
To my amazement, I then received a phone call from Capital One and was informed that the account I held was a 'standard' credit card account and that there was nothing they could do about my 'lost' rebate.
£9 lost.
Now, as far as I was concerned, it was the 4% cashback card that I had applied for from the link. There was nothing to suggest otherwise.
I have now promptly closed this valueless account.
Anyone else had the same issue?
Didn't you use the specific MSE affiliate link provided by multi-millionaire Dr Lewis in his email to you?
If you had, and you applied before the card was no longer being made available to new applicants, then you would have got the cashback card.
Multi-millionaire Dr Lewis didn't get where he is today without you using his affiliate links. Apparently MSE earned over £9million in affiliate links, representing almost 60% of it's annual income, in the year prior to the sale of this site for £87million0 -
I've noticed on Facebook the cash back card it being advertised and when I clicked on the link it was quite happy for me to apply.
So maybe they are targeting it more rather than letting anyone apply.0 -

I would refer you to my earlier posts and links in this thread stating that the card is not currently available for new applicants.0 -
Oh, I see what you mean, I stand corrected :cool:0 -
I would refer you to my earlier posts and links in this thread stating that the card is not currently available for new applicants.
So why is it being advertised on Facebook? Why advertise on a PPC site if you aren't offering it?
All I'm saying is what I saw last night and how far I went. I do have one of these cards so didn't try to apply.0 -
As far as I know if you use the right link in this thread and check the online agreement has the rebate section in it as detailed earlier in this thread, you should still be able to get the Cash Back Card. It worked for me, so big thanks to ppl in this thread :-)0

There are also direct links to the application form still on the server if you search hard enough, but all of those URLs start with the ones above0 -
