'Fraid I don't have one near me at all - at least 40mins away, so not an option. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Your posts always make me hungry :)

Thanks - I have a human dustbin at home so seem to be constantly in the kitchen! :rotfl:

    Health:

No weightloss to report I'm afraid. I will be staying on my current plan, and hope to see results soon.

Exercise - not started. No reason, apart from sheer laziness. Must get something in place - going to walk at least an hour every weekend.

    ******

    Wealth:

No real money changes at the moment. MOP account still at £8.

    ******
    Happiness:

BMaids dress arrived and it is fabulous!! Even better than the picture and an incredible price at just £35 so incredibly chuffed with this!
Another thing ticked off my to-do list.

Table Runners also arrived and are just like description and a lovely deep colour. Getting more excited now! EEK!

Have upped my budget for bridal accessories - I have no good reason for this really except expensive tastes! :rotfl:

I may even splurge on proper designer shoes, but haven't seen anything yet I want.

With that in mind, the budget has just tipped 10k at
    10063.95

Just awaiting the napkins, and hoping for 3 out of 3 from online purchases.

My hair and make up trial is tomorrow as well, so hoping she will turn this ugly duckling into a swan! Or at least a more attractive duckling!

Spendy weekend this weekend, but looking forward to it.

Glad to hear the bridesmaid dress and table runners turned out lovely :)

I'm sure you are gorgeous anyways but I hope the hair and make-up trial go ok.

:) I remember my friend being persuaded to have a make-up trial with her hairdresser when she got married. She was too polite to refuse and came out puce and caked in make-up! I'm afraid we laughed our heads off and then helped to remove the cement.

Totally not relevant to you but the memory just popped up!

Satay chicken sounds lovely, just tom pasta for us tonight

The pizza was delicious - the OH could easily have had another one! Do you shop at costco often P*M?

Aha! Finally some money news! Makes a change

Mortgage now stands at £169521.18 (but interest needs to be added on 23rd)

    MOP account: £9.22 :j

Honeymoon account: £1112 remaining to save up for (£6 saved on utilities added - DD dropped)

I also need to allocate some money for Holiday spending - suncream, swimming stuff, sandals (all stuff that we don't have which I need to buy)

Credit Card to pay off: £132.91! Still got to get another tank of petrol, buy some groceries, and generally live until next payday. This was due to a very spendy weekend this weekend by both OH and me.

    Wedding Updates:

Hair and MakeUp trial went so so well - couldn't believe what a difference it made, and I really like the MUA so thrilled!

Finally got through the Church Fees - nearly £700!

Now have got added hassle of trying to sort out parking - as the car park near the church I was going to use is apparently on Private Land and I need to get permission from the committee.

Can't decide on hairpieces/tiara yet until I get my veil and see how it works with my hair - having very simple hair so don't want to look too 'princessy' IYSWIM.

The napkins arrived as well - so 3/3 for online shopping.

Probably strange to suggest but have a look in your local charity shops for something not too princessy - my work colleague found mine for £2 in one and it was perfect and low-key. The year after I lent it to my friend for her wedding :)

money news all looks good too :D

Congratulations on breaching the £170 K barrier Blue Moo. It's lovely when the numbers fall off isn't it?

And yay for the hair and makeup going well. I'm sure you'll be a beautiful bride.

    Thanks Everyone.

SmlSave - that sounds like a good tip. I just need to try my veil on first so I know what kind of hairpiece I need - or if I need one at all.

    **********

Dinner last night was HM chicken kievs with boiled potatoes, peas and cajun mayonnaise.

The chicken breasts were so large, I had to put them in the oven for an extra 1/2 hour over the usual.

Costco coupon book has come out - doesn't seem like anything so far, but will take a closer look at some of the items and compare to the SM.

Wedding Budget has now been upped considerably - have decided to get a photographer and also have splurged on a pair of designer shoes.

Have removed a couple of decorations extras, but currently at:
    10761.95

This is 530 over what we can afford to save, but will be worth it. Luckily we are receiving a money gift from my inlaws which should cut out a fair chunk, and the rest will come from a 'following months' saving IYSWIM and/or selling some of the stuff.

    **********

On the Moneysaving side, I saved over £700 on the Photographer with a bit of haggling and compromise, and 144 on the shoes with haggling and prompt payment.

If you want to see the shoes, please PM me as I don't want to break advertising rules on the site.

    **********

Have sorted out a couple of stresses now as well - had to change my cake supplier who let me down. Just hasn't responded to my calls/emails for over 3 months, so decided that they can not be relied on. Luckily, had a backup supplier in mind when I was choosing who to go with who is happy to make the cake. The design will need to be changed though, but nothing worth worrying about.

    *********

Money news: Worked out our daily interest is £19.56!
So under the £20 barrier which is great. Next target £19.

    ******

Absolutely manic at the moment with everything going on. Work in particular is pretty stressful and will not be easing up anytime soon.

Only 2 months till my annual leave, not that I'm counting :p

Oh BlueMoo life sounds so frantic for you but at the same time you sound like you're happy and you're certainly bagging the bargains at the rate of knots! Well done on the photographer and shoes. As for the cake maker, 3 months of no contact is just unacceptable. Hope the new person is fantastic.

Hope all continues to go well and that you can find some time to just *breathe* before the big day? Are you having a hen night?
