And hi to everyone else who has popped by.

And me I'm still stuck on 12, spendy day yesterday and small spend today. It's hubby's birthday at the weekend so were going down south to have a Party (where he's based with work) and I've just decided to start getting his presents, and banners and balloons for the room which is why I'm busy, so much to organise and so little time.
I've prepared little mans veg dinners, been to baby group this morning, seen a friend this afternoon. Hmmmm I need to write a list so I don't forget anything.

Thanks ETO for updating the list. Everyone seems to be doing so well this month which I think is probably even more difficult than usual with the C word creeping up on us in a few weeks from now:eek: - and I still only have a couple of presents!

Yesterday was probably my final NSD for the month as it's a definite spendy day today as going shopping, although my freezers are fairly full so just going to buy a couple of pork shoulder joints for next month (Mr T have them on special offer at 2 for £6 if anyone's interested - they're only 700g joints but plenty big enough for me and DH as a Sunday roast with enough left overs for a second meal.

So I have reached my final target of 18/18:beer:.
I won't be joining in next month as I am not around for the full month and with the C happening and I've still got present shopping to do and really can't work out when I'll be doing it as I'm reliant on DH using his scooter for work so I can have the car!

Merry Christmas every one - I'll still be reading when I'm around.:xmassign:

Well done on the NSDs above - 15 and 18 is so impressive! And thank you for the summary and cheering on, ETO :)

All spends today saved up and budgeted for - dentist for nightmare follow up appt, prescription, food and petrol mean I can count today as a NSD 25

Tomorrow is car service and MOT day also saved up for and budgeted for so that should be another one and I might squeeze another one in, not sure yet!

  • Coming in to declare 13 and 14!

Spent the morning today visiting my new school (after a month off I'm back to teaching Year 1 on Monday), which was very nice. It was reassuring just to look around, take another look at the classroom etc etc. Ended up getting stuck in teaching some maths groups, which I hadn't expected! Oh well! :o

Not sure yet whether tomorrow will be a NSD or not... I'm expecting a delivery at some point, but if they come reasonably earlier, I might head out and explore the new Waitrose that has opened at the end of my road! Very handy, as my estate is a new build and has a complete lack of corner shops, so to have a supermarket at the end of the road is very, very handy! :T I'll have to try hard to make sure it's not a regular thing though. Waitrose isn't the cheapest, that's for sure!
Because it's fun to have money!

  • Hi Folks:),

A very unexpected NSD for me today and am able to declare NSD14 for today:beer:
I am off tomorrow though and will definitely be spending, as I intend going into town to finish what little shopping I have left to do:)
This is apparently the busiest shopping weekend before Christmas due to it being some peoples last paycheck before Christmas day, so anyone who doesn't like crowds of people may wish to avoid the shops this weekend and consider online shopping instead with some discount perhaps:money:
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
