  • it's so hard it was a mistake to break up with him.
He doesn't cause me paind my family does :(
I said be friends and if we're meant to be together then we will.

I was kinda thinking of saving for a house then move in with him as a room mate...then...being together...

I thought that way once. When an ex had nowhere to go I offered him a room and we did get together, unfortunately he got together with a few others too :( after a year I realised the mistake was trying again and although I'll never admit it to them, my family were right. That's just me though, I can't tell you how to live.

I agree with Modesty8, try being friends. I mean you no malice by saying this but I think you need to learn to love yourself and find what makes YOU happy before you can consider a relationship. Sometimes you can learn that in a relationship but I honestly believe it's better to do it alone and really know yourself and what you want before thinking of someone else.

I completely sympathise with how you feel and I wish you all the best of happiness.

Didn't manage a NSD today as I ended up going to town and spotting a dressing gown my Mum wanted for Xmas and it was half price so I couldn't not!
Pay day tomorrow which means I have finished my November month today and have managed a total of 13 NSDs :T
I didn't quite reach my target of 15 but I did have a few unexpected spend days when OH was in hospital and a few others so I definitely know it was possible! Haven't done so bad considering it was my first attempt.
December NSD Challenge starts for me tomorrow! I'm going to have a look through my diary see my plans for the next month and work out a suitable target!

    Good luck everyone! :D

  • Hi Folks,
    :)
Another long and busy day for me. It started at 6.30am in the gym and then I had a busy day at work. I then managed to get a place on spin:), although my body currently hurts and my legs may just feel like they belong to someone else:o
I am able to declare NSD12 for today:beer:
I have no idea if that is my target for this month or not, but will keep trying:)
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D

  • Aw,I was certain today would be my first NSD in a while. Was feeling ever so positive until about 2pm when I realised kids would be demanding money for YET ANOTHER cake sale at school.Pity, cos that was the only spend I had today.
Think I have another 2 days to reach my target this month.I might be able to do it.
My set-aside-a-pot-for-things-like-scouts/lunch money/cake sales-system hasn't worked very well this month, mainly because I only had "large" notes in the pot.Well, you can't pay for scouts with a £20 note, and you need exact money for lunches,so I would go to the daily spend purse, causing it to be a spendy day.For December I will use £5 notes(which I have been collecting:I find them very hard to come across, especially at the beginning of the month)
The positive seems to be that I will have a £20 note left to put in my sealed pot at the end of the month :j.
People seem to be doing so brilliantly on here:well done everyone :T

I think I would be inclined to try and save your £1 and £2 coins as I find these more easily obtainable than £5 notes! You're right that there doesn't seem to be that many around any more.

As I haven't got the car again today it means it will be another NSD for me bringing my total to NSD #17/18. I know tomorrow will definitely be a spendy day but hopefully I can bag another on Friday.
