I did it !!!!! NSD#11
Don't know how,but FINALLY i reached my target.PHEW!!
Earlier this week it really was looking very grim.
So,lessons for next month:
-make better use of pots(joedenise I meant to thank you for your suggestion of using smaller denominations of coins(£1 and 2).Thank you,I will be doing this.Need to go into the bank in the next few days,so will change up a note to 1's and 2's especially.
-spend abit of time planning HOW I am going to get NSD's,rather than making it up as I go along
-do not run around on an empty tank of petrol just to attain a NSD .You know it will end in tears one day,Saver-upper
Thank you very much all for such an encouraging thread.
And good luck to everyone

One NSD away from target and one day left in November to achieve it...and a four year old daughter with chicken pox so we won't be going anywhere tomorrow.
I hadn't planned to go out tomorrow anyway and have a big bag of art stuff for the kids, a big pile of ironing for me and a plan to get the house all clean so "santa" can put the tree up when everyone is asleep on Saturday night

Never did get out today. The parcel I was waiting in for never arrived. That's why I don't like courier firms! What a bl00dy waste of a day!
But, on the positive, it meant I've had NSD 15, which was my target!! So "whoop!" for completing it just in time!Because it's fun to have money!
