Make sure the Display Mode for the Pepipoo forum is set to "Standard" - via the drop-down Options menu towards the top right of the screen (on the same line as the thread title).

If I get that glitch on pepipoo it works properly if I switch the options drop-down to 'linear'.

Finally had a reply from AOS.

    Dear

We have investigated your complaint with the operator and can advise as follows. !The parking charge notice relates to a contravention which occurred at one of the ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) pay and display car parks.! The reason for the contravention was for non – purchase of a pay and display ticket. The date of the alleged contravention was the 31st!March 2013.! The ticket was issued on 9th!April 2013 to the keeper.!

    !

On the 24th!May 2013 the operator confirmed they received a call from the keeper informing them the notice had been passed on to one of their drivers.! !On 1st!June 2013, the keeper formally confirms the driver details.! Unfortunately the operator experienced an admin error and this was realised on the 23rd!October and the notice was sent out to the driver.

    !

The operator believes the driver was aware of the parking charge notice before receiving the letter in October 2013.! Please be aware that the BPA Code of Practice does not actually stipulate a timeframe the parking charge notice needs to be sent out once the driver has been named by the keeper.! In view of this, there has been no breach of our Code of Practice and the investigation has been closed.

    !

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

    !

    Kind regards,

    !

Reply and state that Excel believes wrong and is making a huge assumption in order to avoid dealing with a legitimate appeal. State that you were not aware of it and as driver, you were perfectly entitled to appeal when you received the Notice to Driver. Which you did, in time.

So the Notice that was sent out on 23rd October purports to be a Notice to Driver in accordance with paragraph 7 of POFA 2012 and as such the driver is entitled to a POPLA code, having appealed in good time on receipt of the Notice.

Send that to steve.c@britishparking.co.uk not to whoever replied to you, just forward their email and add the above.

The BPA CoP gives a PPC 35 days to consider and respond to an appeal.

well, if you have a popla code then its all down to a decent POPLA appeal to get it thrown out on the same grounds as all the others in the POPLA sticky thread , several new ones were recently posted for no gpeol and no valid contract etc

so if you have that code, start with a good appeal similar to the ones linked in the NEWBIES sticky thread , they will then lose and pay £27 + vat for doing so
