Hugs to your mrsGSR. I hope you begin to feel more like yourself soon.
Hugs.
Today has been a spend free day so that is number 6 (I think, will have to check).
Been speaking to my dad about credit cards but he is trying to unwind after work so will discuss it on Sunday. Sounds fair enough.
Sooooooooo... Today is "making a roast chicken" from scratch day as morries were doing them half price.
Tomorrow is "leftover chicken fajita" day as we are going to use up the leftover chicken. In breaking news... we are going to attempt to make our own fajitas as well.
Hopefully everything is going well with everyone else.

Big huggles to those feeling meh, be that gloomy or poorly xx
I have to say I am struck by the amount of positivity and motivation floating about though so a big well done too.
Been doing Xmas shopping today online at amazon so that's the boy sorted apart from some little stocking fillers. Accidentally bought myself a Kinks cd so confession time folksIt was less than a fiver though and is am doing so much better than usual. Ordered a sat nav for me from my mum for Xmas which will be great. Been wanting one for ages. Ordered car tax too so I don't forget. Money waiting for that. Got to count as a spendy day all in all!
Watching Neverending Story 3 with M and having a glass of wine. Enjoy your Friday x'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -
hey stewby, I got a tescimos ccard earlier this year, it was 0% on balance transfers for a year, no balance transfer fee and 0% on purchases for a year
Like many others I'm feeling down today. I thought I'd have a happy day today as it's Friday, I've achieved loads of marking this week (in between lessons and the Open Evening) and was so looking forward to having a restful weekend. Unfortunately, one of my pupils had other thoughts and it has left me in an awful mood.
In NOvember news, today has been a SFDTook lunch to work

Well I've had a spend day today unfortunately but I have made £5 selling some of DS's old DVDs. I went into a caf! to speak to them about booking them for DD's christening and ended up buying a drink and some cake for me and DS . Unfortunately the owner (a friend of ours) was busy when I went in so I had to wait.
Anyway, the positives are that I've gotten rid of another bag of clutter (DS's DVDs) and found a waistcoat & tie for DS for the christening for £4 instead of £50 :money:. I haven't bought it yet though so hopefully I can get it tomorrow when I am doing the food shop, clothes for me and the kids & maybe some xmas gifts if I find any good things within budget at the artisan market.
I do feel for everyone feeling down about money at the moment as I'm feeling the same. I'm looking at my decluttering/cleaning of the house as my focus so I don't spend any money.TOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -

I just love reading the posts on this thread. I love the personal touch from those of you who have been on this road/journey longer than me.
I walked dd home from school ina downpour today, and thought how much fun jumping in muddy puddles can be! And when I told her that sleet was forecast for the weekend, she got sooo excited. She sees joy in so much, so I shall try to do the same!
Today I'm grateful for
-dd
-the beautiful autumn colours
-the sound of the rain, especially when I'm indoors
-juvela bread mix - the only one I can get to be edible and pass the 'dd taste test'
-having a peaceful day by myself
Sweet dreams everyone.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

This I thought was lovely and the right attitude to try and lift the general sense of glum I'm feeling. I'm grateful for my lovely family, great friends and the promise of a positive future if I get the spending under control. I am also grateful for having achieved quite a bit this week which I would not have done had I not joined this challenge.
- eaten the same dinner two days in a row because I had leftovers (wouldn't have done before, would have gone in a tub in fridge with good intentions that's all)
- Eaten veggie three dinners in the week
- Not spent any money or been occupied with thinking about spending money (e.g. thinking that one of the dd's need something and window shop)
I'm quite proud of the aboveFinally had my eyes opened and I am ready to tackle my debts!

Oopps, when I said "not spent any money" above I meant the SFD's I've achieved as of course I have spent some. Oh I'm sure you all know what I mean'
MrsGsR - big hugs to you. Sounds like you need to take some time to be good to yourself this weekend. Finally had my eyes opened and I am ready to tackle my debts!
