morning all
hugs good wishes and positive vibes where needed
sorry the flylady meet got cancelled i know i couldnt go but it was nice to think our little virtual community could in part meet up.


Monday Mayhem ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Wipe light switches, sockets and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!!
Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –

• Clean a window or two.
• Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!

Deep Clean Challenge
Clean skirtings even the ones behind furniture. Wipe sofa's down. Clear as may hotspots as you can.. see if you can get it all into one pile instead of 15!!!

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
15 minutes...
Clean floors
30 minutes to spare...
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table..
Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Descale kettle and iron
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:
Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
30 minutes ironing.
Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that minging cupboard. Give it all GOOD scrub out before placing the things you need to use soon at the front. If no manky cupboard do a different one! Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!!

5 things that i will do in october
[STRIKE]make a start on the christmas stocking im sewing for my friend for christmas[/STRIKE] its started but it looks like it have hours of work it may not be finished for this christmas
[STRIKE]tidy front and back garden and get them ready for winter[/STRIKE]

empty ironing basket - WIP im about half way through
[STRIKE]take another load of stuff down CS[/STRIKE]

clear some more craft stuff
this weeks goal is to sew buttons/ribbons on 3 baby cardis,[STRIKE] finish tinman area of stocking[/STRIKE], hand sew sides on 3 clutch bags.

go for mammogram
meeting with advisor re DHs pension
[STRIKE]take survival bag bag to scouts[/STRIKE]
sew new scouts badge on
post friends birthday card

been in attic to find wellys, wetsuit and boiler suit for DS2s caving day on sunday. Rather him than me:eek:
sorted out some bits i can declutter so im nipping out with those and the stuff for the recycling banks.

Vacuum (and mop) floors and sofas
Got an hour...
Wipe sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!)

Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.

Morning all,
I can see blue sky here today, but sadly at this time of year that just means it's going to be colder with no cloud blanket! Still, am very thankful we've not experienced the horrific weather that's been battering England this week. Hope those affected are getting back to normal quickly.

Thought I had a work meeting this evening but I'm a week ahead of myself so tonight can be a flyer after all.

Such a shame about the flylady meet, Birmingham is a bit far for me sadly but if there were a Scottish meet I'd definitely be trying to attend.

Morning again

Well as the grand kids arrived yesterday my jobs didn't get finished.
Did get most of the basics done tho and mostly stripped the living room so will try and finish that today

Need to do hall stairs and landing bathroom and toilet and kitchen today
Need to list 5 things on eBay
Feel worn out and haven't done anything yet��

Well I need to do both those lists. :eek:

Didn't get much done yesterday as Himself was working from home as the trains weren't running. Also took kids out in the afternoon to give him a bit of peace.

I did manage the utility room & bathrooms though.

LJ, why can't your bf pay half of he's living there? It's only fair. IMO of course!

I am off for a shower (yes, I know it's late morning!) and then I will get on with my day.

Good morning all

DS3 taken to a cricket course, lovely countryside to drive through to get there.

There is a funny smell in the kitchen/dinning room and I cannot work out what it is or where it is coming from so I am going to be hunting that down until I find the cause.

Need to try to clear up the huge lump of tree, DS1 can help me and some Governor paperwork before I go and collect DS3 (who hopefully will have had fun) for 4pm
