Odd thing only. But as with 4oD and Demand 5, the adverts on ITV Player are rife which makes watching anything a right chore.0 -

Argos has two different Now Tv boxes for sale with included passes.
The cheaper of the boxes is NTVEB1 at £12.50 with 4 months entertainment pass.
The more expensive one is NTVEB3 at £19.99 for a 3 month pass.
Now obviously the cheaper one is much better value however is there something to said for buying a newer model of the box which is what the more expensive one seems to be? - Just because I love this emoticon!0 -

Is it not just the same box, only you are getting more content in the included monthly pass.
EDIT: Think the new box may have HD capability.0 -

Nope, the box has always been 720p - HD. Unless someone knows better, assume it's exactly the same device but with the different subscription models.0 -
NowTV box is just a cut down Roku box so doubt there would be a newer/better version.0

Anyone got it?
I currently pay £47pcm to virgin for telly and broadband. We mostly watch netflix and rarely actual telly, so am considering terminating my virgin tv contract, keeping broadband (takes payment down to £20 pcm) and getting Now TV instead.
Is it reliable? easy to use? can anyone recommend it?0
