    The MSE page states:
Important: Now TV has branded this as a Formula 1 season pass, however it's the same thing - and gives you full access to all 10 Sky Sports channels. You will see this before you sign up.

Thanks, yes you are right ! I was looking at the original page version, but just refreshed it and see that it's been updated with the extra information now.

I have just signed up with NOW TV for the entertainment pass taking out a six month pass at £27.27. Am I able to take out another six month pass at a discounted price when the six months are up or do I have to revert to £7.99 a month? Or are there other ways of getting a discount after the six months?

I have three Samsung smart TVs with NOW apps. I think I can only have two devices on at a time. I am a newbie to all this, so bear with me.

There seem to be a lot of cheap NOW boxes knocking around on Ebay. Would people recommend them?

Also if I get a box (I believe you can only get Freeview on the box and not on the stick?) for each TV, does that mean I can also access NOW entertainment on two more devices ie two tablets?

Otherwise we are already enjoying Sky Arts via the app ... :D But I'd appreciate if someone could answer my questions even if any fule shoud no the answers but I obviously am stupider than any fule!!!! ;) lol

Re the first pat of your Q:- Just before the autorenewal for Entertainment kicks in, cancel via their website. I'm led to believe that you are very likely to get a reduced offer to stay with Now TV:T

It depends on the offers available to existing customers at the time. There are often good Black Friday deals for Now TV (last year was 12 months Entertainment + Movies for £99). Now TV also participates in McDonalds Monopoly each year, so there is the possibility of winning a Pass that way.

As already mentioned, the Now TV website generally makes you an offer when you cancel. However, don't expect that offer to be followed-up by email, or reduced even further, as that does not seem to happen, and it is a one-time only thing.

I can't really see the point when new boxes are only a few £££s. You quite often get cheap bundled Passes with new boxes.

AFAIK, the limitations apply to the Now TV service overall, and it doesn't make any difference if all/some of the devices are official Now TV kit. There are/have been several different types of Now TV kit. Currently, I think there are three: the simple box, the stick and the Freeview box.

Thanks for your help. Is it worth getting a free view box with cheap pass when the 6 months is up?

Also - I have the NOW app on two Samsung smart TVs which works well. However I have a slightly older Samsung smart TV Model UE22H5600AK and it does not seem to have the NOW app. Is it possible to download the app on the TV?

I don't have any personal experience of the Freeview box, but others might be able to give you their impressions. Currently, it is available with 3 months free Entertainment Pass (from Argos).

Have a look for the app in the Samsung app store and try it. It will let you know if the TV is incompatible.

You can obtain info on the TV here: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE22H5600AKXMS

That's why there are so many NowTV boxes on Ebay.

That's a 2014 model and if something isn't supported then there's no way to get it on there unless Samsung themselves decide to support it (don't hold your breath).

You can't get another such pass from NowTV because it's an introductory offer. But you may be able to get a new one from third parties. As far as I know Sky removed these from sale but may be available via eBay and/or Amazon. Certainly I have not seen the three months for £15 version in my local ASDA for some time. Those still available might be old stock which might not work or are at least risky.

3 months for £15 still on sale at Sainsbury's and they work.

I think it is important to understand that the account is independent of the devices(NowTV boxes or anything with the app).

Each account can have multiple devices registered and any 2 can access at one time.

If you want more than 2 at a time you need another account with it's own subscription.

Any offers that come with the boxes have a voucher you apply to the account they are not attached to the device.

People get the boxes with the vouchers as it is cheaper than buying them separately.

What a NowTV box can do is give/upgrade a TV smart functions.
in addition to the NowTV they can download apps to access other services, some free.

The newer(larger) box also supports freeview.
