Hi again:D
Still feeling rotten, lo is getting a cold too, poor man, at the mo i have a headache, just going to rub lavender on my forehead see if that will ease it, mum is taking over some painkillers.
Have worked out what we are doing for our anniversery in 11 days:j we did plan originally to go out for meal at a lovely wee hotel that does fantastic food, but dont want to leave lo.
So dh asked last night if they did takeaways and phoned them up today and they do, think its only for special occasions though, the lady is phoning back later this evening so will see what we can have:D dh has said he wants steak and an awesome pudding ( his exact words!)

Hi Everyone
Well, what a couple of days I have had. Thought I would be able to pop in a bit today but so busy! Loads of incoming phone calls and I also had to do loads of work e-mails (makes a change!!!!!!!!!!).
Well, yesterday morning our DD phoned to say regular contractions so on way in to hospital (SIL's parents on the phone call out this time round). I then jumped in car, went to get wee pressies for DGSs and new baby. Home, awaiting phone call which came at about 2.00. False alarm! Will keep you all updated! She said today she feels less pregnant than she has done for a while as that awful pressure feeling has worn off (you Mums know what I mean!). I was on red alert yesterday and down to amber today. Everytime the phone rang I thought - is this it! However, Granny bag packed with presents and camera!
Then just after midnight our radio controlled alarm clock decided to go off - we hadn't touched it, honest! Then I spent the rest of the night having vivid dreams (about hamsters at one point!) going to the loo and feeling I wasn't getting any sleep.
Totally knackered tonight.
Love and hugs, commiserations and congratulations to those who need them.

Hi everyone.
I've had a busy day at work today. It feels weird working on a monday as I only work 2 or 3 days at the end of the week as part of my job-share but I owe a couple of days, so I'm doing a full one this week. It's quite good being in charge for the whole week as everything will be tidy and done my way!
Tonight's tea was out of the freezer, hm chicken and leek pie with mash and veg followed by vanilla angel delight with crumbled flake on the top (one of our treats).
I've managed a quick tidy around and the WM and TD will be on later after bathtime, but I'm ready for bed now!0 -
Evening everyone - not read too much yet so need to catch up with all your news! Grannybroon, the waiting is the hardest bit! Can remember NOT ringing son every day the baby was overdue last October as I remember how my Mum used to check every day and night! Still now you are absolutely ready, so hope something happens soon!
Me, I've had a crazy day at school going from one meeting to another, but I have finally finished a really important bit of paperwork that's been bugging me for ages, so feel a weight off my shoulders right now!Resolution:

We've got some good news - link to follow!
Here it is - Penelope Penguin hatches some eggs.
Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Great news Pen-pen - don't forget I am on your egg list when you get plenty. I bought some Duck Eggs from Donny market on Saturday, they were delicious. We bought the meat for the weekend from the Market too, We had Chuck Steak cooked in Port with Mushrooms and Kidney. My friend used to be a Butcher with her Dad, so knows her meat, so if she is with me I delgate all meat choosing to her, we bought sausages and bacon from the stall too, the bonus is that the Sausages BBQ'd without setting it on fire by having too much fat in them, and the Bacon does not turn into a pan of water when you cook it, but this time we BBQ'd it as it is that bit thicker than the packet type. Hope to have more time to shop at the market when we "retire", more flavour for sure.
Work again today, only one more Monday to face, while busy while there, hasn't got the same spark as it used to have. I keep turfing out paperwork kept "just in case". It unbelieveable how much you acquire in almost 30 years.
Trying to get back into diet mode again, as waistline fast losing shape
(((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) to many of you as they are needed for sure, anyone heard from Jet?
Glad you are back on form Amie shame about the birds! :rotfl: :rotfl:
