Hello everyone, just having a nice cuppa and HM flapjack before getting back to daily duties.

I am new to OS and have just started making things myself, made my first loaf of bread last night and although it was not perfect it did the trick for breakie this morning. Anybody got any tips for the perfect loaf without a bread maker?

Started flying too, which DH is over the moon about (he usually does the housework:o ), which I will have to get back to as soon as I have finished this tea.

Need a hug on behalf of my bf, he got a letter today from his sons nursery saying he is having behavoiral problems due to seeing him in 2 weeks. The solicitor (for his divorce) have advised to see him this time and see what the situation is as she may be lying. Im so angry at his ex wife for being so immature about it all and having to bring in the child as a weapon and so so sorry for both the child and my bf as they only want to see eachother.

    Hugs to everyone else too

    Hi boo81
It is very hard, isn't it, when a child is used in this way. Hope things get sorted out & he is able to continue seeing his son.

Forgot to say earlier that DD is off school again with her tonsils:rolleyes: ..she has been in and out of sleep all day. Has been to the doctors and they are infected again.

OH has defrosted the freezer in kitchen, cleared out the corner unit and will be freecycling a deep fat fryer and a couple of other bits. He has also cleaned out the cutlery drawer and emptied the DW:D He is currently in the garden putting slug pellets down as they are eating the flowers and potatoes:eek:

    laters!

    :hello: Aft'noon All :hello:

Welcome to the newbies, (((hugs)) to those who need them.

PP - I was going to suggest that you contact the emergency dentist at the hospital, but it seems your GP has sorted you out.

Had hoped to sign in yesterday morning boasting what a wonderful evening at the concert and fireworks I'd had. It was not to be :( Started feeling unwell Saturday lunchtime, headachey, so decided to have a half hour lay down ... didn't wake until 10pm!! Then it was contant trips to the bathroom throughout the night. That'll teach me to tempt fate! I'd only mentioned the day before, when dh was saying how many staff were going off with sickness, that I had escaped. Seems not! Yesterday I was feeling 'delicate' but at least things appeared to have settled down. Three o'clock this morning, up again - had to cancel gym classes today. Oh well, not to worry, rather get whatever it is out of my system!

Need my energy (and health) for tomorrow, not only got our monthly lunch with the girls to attend, but I had to phone the dentist this morning and they can squeeze me in tomorrow afternoon. I'm very grateful for that! *Note to self: pop toothbrush/paste into handbag*

Kaz!!!! How wonderful to see you posting! :D Oh yes, I remember your long drawn out erection saga. Didn't know the price of wood had gone up - thanks for that.

Skies are looking rather grey (again!) and d13yo went trotting off to school today sans blazer, so I might have to go out and pick them up. Mind you, I did remind him and point out the weather this morning .. might let him face the consequences of his choices ;)

The only OS'ing that's gone on here today has been laundry and using a bread mix in the BM (Parmesan and Sundried Tomato from the pantry).

Catch up with you all later

Afternoon all..................((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) if you need one.

We had a very disturbed night, at 2.15 there was a lot of shouting and bad langage in the street outside our window..........both OH and I were awake, heard the gate to the complex go back with a crash against the wall......oh my god our car is out there.........I put my dressing gown on and started along the corridor........I just got level with the resident drunks room and his entry phone was going, then horror heard the lock turning on the door....quick escape back into the apartment..........more shouting in the street last for about half an hour, by which time we had been awake for over an hour, I was just thinking of phoning the police when they disappeared down the road, still shouting and bawling............cuppa and read for a while but well after 4am before I got back to sleep........

We were very late getting up........so the morning was gone before we got our feet on the floor.

Been to the library and also to the chemist to collect my medication and Wilko's for some compost maker.........

Cuppa and then I HAVE to start the ironing...................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

It hasnt happened in a while but the couple living behind me would argue and the things they would say were quite scary. They would also throw things, I wonder whether he came home drunk and would start on the young girl he was with
