Hello, hope you managed to get a bit of sleep before going for lunch. did it all go ok?

Good news on the win - perhaps a sign that 2008 will be YOUR year

Nope, no sleep for me. Ran about the town like a blue @rse fly trying to get bits and bobs in before going to meet my dad (for the first time in TWO years, the biological dad......not the eejit ex stepdad) for a really quiet lunch. it was wierd and emotional, like it usually is. But it's done now and I can get back to relaxing.

Well of COURSE I'm tucking into a bottle of Ros! *cozies down*

Oh, and I'm feeling a bit like a really nasty shallow selfish cow :( I have a gift comming from my boyfriend next week and I'm utterly dreading it. I think I know what it 'might' be but if it is........I'll cry big tears.........not the happy I love you ones either :(

OH! SS hon, I'll be on here sunday the 30th evening (I dont see him xmas day, just sat the 29th.......saturdays as usual.......not giving an inch) bawling my eyes out if it is what I think it is. Fingers crossed it isn't though because I'll not stand for poor decision making leading to ill thought item purchasing which then leads to libedo-DEATH.

to be fair to the poor bloke - I think pressie buying is a completely different experience for men. it's ingrained into them that it's ok to leave it until 24th (although he may find some bargains then), don't stress too much, it's more important that he's been there for you through a tough year and that he will continue to be. it's only a pressie!
there's always a chance he might buy you something fantastic...

Yeah. I'm not intentionally trying to be a cow. it's just that......eugh........I always put alot of thought into the gifts I give because it seems to make it more personal, y'know.

Eugh, ignore me. I'm two months late (again) and stressed to the max.

im having my dinner whilst typing like an insane cat lady :)

    Ahem!

    Normally it's a case of:

    Q."What do you want"?

    A.
    1. Don't know.
    2. Nothing.
    3. Surprise me.

So you go to the shops torn between Scylla and Charybdis - you've got to buy her *something* or she'll kill you - and whatever you buy her she'll hate.

    And she will kill you.

I didn't mean you were being a cow but it's only a pressie. Example though: I've bought a wee digital travel alarm for DS's dad from him that also works as a digital photo frame and I've put lots of pics of DS on it for him as he travels a lot with work and seemed a good idea. He on the other hand emailed me and asked "what do you want from DS"...

    it's a man thing!

2 months late though? not a chance you might be pregnant?
