I've been doing ok on the ebaying - haven't spent much on xmas yet as it's mainly come through my ebay sales. Dead anything is a bit "horror" to me though. do they still have all the stuffed animals at Kelvingrove? haven't been since it reopened.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Things are ok, I have a new job that I hope to start any time now - will certainly take some of the financial stress off me but it is the most challenging job I will ever have done! Still, pretty excited about that.
The children have been off for their first stint of training and had a ball. They can't wait to go back again, and I hope I raise the money in time for them to be able to do so.
And slowly, I am getting on top of things, and finding my way forward.....oh, and I am not letting you down on the coffee drinking front either
Ah, yes! Working in a prison I'm sure I read, is that right or did I day dream that? I'm glad the kids had a good time and I'm more than certain that you'll achieve the next target o' monies to get them there. You're a determined and strong woman, you'll do it, I know you will.
OH¬! Coffee, ehm....yes. I've had to drasticly cut my caffine intake because when I (pulled my head out of my backside and) was busy waking up to the smell of a morning cuppa, I counted the empty jars in the kitchen. SEVEN of them. Seven jars in three weeks. Caffine withdrawels makes you feel physically sick, shake, dizzy and all other horrid things. I'm now down to a strict three a day.Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:

I will go have a look soon then - I would imagine a giraffe (goolies or not) would be difficult to do. I don't have too many people to buy for at xmas so it's not too bad. DS said pal was asking for PS3 though but he doesn't reckon santa would give him that as "they are so overpriced", god help me if he gets one! think this may be the last year of santa - boo!Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

). When my sister was younger She quickly cottoned on to January sales, thanks to moi! I told her that if she waited for a while after christmas she could use her christmas money on things she might have wanted but didn't get. This is because santa is rushed off his feet making things, and sometimes, he takes a break and lets shops make things so he can spend some time with the Mrs. And shops do them cheaper in the sales
(I'm an awfull big sis me).

lol - and sis believed you? DS's dad told me off for telling DS that we send the money to santa as he feels kids should be allowed to ask for anything and not concerned with money. duh!!! he himself is very sensible with money but his sis is insane!
I think that the pressies I've got this year may have cost less but are probably better thought out as they have to be! noone has a !!!! pressie and I think they'll all love them. even got books about bogies...Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Och aye my sis believed me. I told her the haggis animal they have on display in the kelvingrove is a REAL example of haggis and that's where it comes from. She believed that! then I told her 2 minutes later it's a mock-up. Later we were looking at porcupines in a glass case and she said "Look at that, it looks like wood!" I said "It is wood, Didnt you know porcupineS are made of 50% real wood??!!" "OMG! No WAY! Really?!" she replied. "No, I'm lying....again." I said...with this look on my face ->
