The reason that form dla434 LOOKING AGAIN AT A CLAIM FOR A PERSON AGED 16 AND OVER was sent in was to try and get award extended. Obv at the moment they would like to stay as dla not pip due to all the paperwork involved. However, I'm not worried about them not getting pip as at the mo they are on high rate care and mob and are genuinely very ill it's just the stress of it all if that makes sense x

I have done some reading at it looks like if you give them info before October 28th it will be assessed under dla but if you post or give them info and they receive it after the 28th it will be pip. Can someone please confirm if I have read that correctly?

Also one of the pip question is, can you walk between 1 and 50m aided or unaided? Does it say anywhere the time they allow you to cover that distance please?

    Assuming she's under 65.
Moving is not a change of circumstances with regards DLA - as I understand it.

Only if she needs to report a change in her condition would she have to migrate to PIP early if she moves into one of the affected areas.
Otherwise - it's likely not to be many months before it goes nationwide an it's sometime in 2015 that people with long term awards of DLA begin to be reassessed.

Nothing else will be different, just her address and not due for renewal until mid 2015, so she should be ok then? Aside from the fact that the government changes their mind daily...
