Virgin Media Broadband Faults

weegie.geek i am fed up of Virgin Media they have messed me about since 15 December! I have thought of going to BT for a £62 connex charge and talk tak for £6 per month

Sorry Rich, but a bit unrealistic on the expectations there. You won't get unmanaged, non-traffic shaped access ever again in this country i don't think. Not for the short term anyway. Check out Virgins T&C's (which changed from when it was NTL) as tbh i think anyone who was offering a 'commitment' like that was talking from their backside!

Personally as a Virgin Media customer I hate the B***rds.
Has anyone actually noticed that the 150 option (CUSTOMER SERVICE) used to be free to call from your virgin landline and now it acually costs something like 10p per min? So ias well as waiting on the line for an hour to be dealt with and spitting feathers I now have to pay for that privilage?
The only reason I am still with them is for the broadband because you just cannot get it faster down a phone line.
The telecoms market is a rip off and something needs to be done about it!!
Sadly I am only one person and there is only so much one person can do

I have a phone line via telewest/vrigin but was trying to change to broadbadn but they are useless

in real terms you need a bt line.

The problem is that they came to install broadband on 15 Dec and just left a cable and disc. The cable didnt fit and i have been waiting ever since!!!

What kind of cable is it they left?
