I walked around 3 shops close to each other that I normally don't go into,thinking that since I haven't been in them for years(one of them never,actually),there must be lots of rk waiting for me.Found nothing.

However.....this afternoon went out to collect kids from school.These days,when I can, I deliberately leave home a few minutes early so I can lurk around the PO shop and surrounding street then walk up same road to school (counting on school kids losing their sweets money!).
In shop found my first 5p piece wedged under chiller unit-only about 1/2 exposed.
Found nothing as I walked along road to school.Decided to cross the road:as soon as I set foot on new footpath,found 5p.Wandered abit further,crossed BACK across the road.Again,as soon as I set foot on new footpath,found 5p.
Seems I am tuning into the roadkill landscape :rotfl:

So 15p today :j

And boy did I start to fret when I got my keys out of my pocket and thought I heard one of my 5p pieces fall to the ground and roll away :eek:
But it's ok:it was just a trolley token(worth about £1) :rotfl::rotfl:





And I was able to find and retrieve it :T

This would definitely count as wombled receipt earnings. I hate McDs but it won't stop me looking for stickers to hand over to my nephews who will appreciate it! Thanks for the tip!

Yup! I would agree with that! There is definitely a shift in senses when you get good at this - I'm not kidding! I've had some finds that have even gobsmacked me: It was like I just knew it was there.


Had an alright day today - 12p in roadkill and £1.98 in w/r takings......gotta pull something serious out of the bag to hit £100 for the month!
