Out of these three cars, which would you be leaning toward?

Yes it has to be The Avensis. My brother had one for ten years and never went wrong.
When you want to sell it all the local cabbies will be biting your hand off to buy it.

Avensis, just because I have known happy owners and would expect a Toyota to last better than the others.

Bit of a bizarre selection to choose from though.

I agree Toyota's are monumentally stupefyingly dull,
but would you rather be attended by the Rac at the roadside in an "interesting" car?

Totally agree. We have this car, but the sport model, and it is a wonderful, fun, reliable little car. That price is also very reasonable I'd say.

+1 for the Avensis. You'll struggle to find a good mazda 3 ffom a dealer for 4k.
