The turkeys and crowns were half price in Aldo today. Also BGOF on the SS + some other veggies. We got some whoops in Mr Asdo tonight.
So updated my sig but we have so much stock in.
Mr F had to dash off to see Doctor this morning. We had an easy meal - HM wedges + veggies + Burger in bun.

Well - the turkey crown arrived today ok from the butcher thank heavens. It was £27.02 and foil from BM was £1.79.

Still under budget and that's paying for Chrissy food as well :j

I'm on this thread until Dec 31st but in the meantime I'm off to make the stuffing, bread sauce and do veggies before bedtime with a glass of wine in my hand. Cheers and

Wowsers (has to sit down) I've heard the urban myths of others getting stonking bargains at final knocking time in Mr Ts but we managed one today!!

Went in so the biys could spend their Christmas money and ti ask about returning some clothes I was bought but were too big, and we walked out with meat and bread bargains that cost us £13.26 for a little bit over £160!!!!!! Everything was at 10% andthen a 3 for £10 saving also kicked in :rotfl:

Wow Shortie, what a fantastic bargain. Wish I'd hit the shops now, stayed in thinking there's nothing I need.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Oh WOW, now that's a bargain, I didn't go looking for YS today as did very well on xmas eve and no space left to put anymore.

  • Wow, Shortie well done on your bargain!!

My food month usually runs from 25th - 25th. Can you please put me down for £30 per week in Jan 2014. I set aside the money when we got paid early so we would not spend it.

I am hoping to NOT fall off the wagon this month!!
