Morning all
I got paid on the 18th and have already spent a LOT without much of a clue as to what I've spent it on
I'm going to have to really be careful for the rest of the month.
I have £161.42/£225 remaining...0 -
£8.30 spent yesterday in Mr M. Hope to have a few NSDs now. I don't spend as much when in work (today). Urgh, this month is feeling out of control... Yesterdy I really fancied fish and chips but didn't want to spend the money on a takeout (that's be out of our personal budget) and besides, the chippy if quite far away and the weather is bad. So Mr Shortie popped to the village shop and got 2 packs of fish fingers (for £5 ... but still, cheaper than a take out by a long shot) and some bags of crisps for a movie night.
Mr Shortie just popped to a local farm shop for parsnips for tomorrow (we have plenty of other veg already) will have a count up of what's left in th purse in a mo - I've lost track of our spendsApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Okay, so along with the parsnip, Mr Shortie bought eggs, a box of clementines and a bag of fresh cranberries to make cranberry sauce (like we don't have enough to do already :wall:)
Counted what's left in purse now and off to update sig.. We have £106 left to last until 20th Jan... We need to make the most of leftovers at this rate!!April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Just back from Wolverhampton market, had a lovely breakfast in the market caf! and spent £5 on fruit and veg, got the biggest cabbage I have ever seen for 50p will last me weeks, grapes plums pears, a red cabbage and a large stalk of sprouts. Well pleased but it was sad to see the market was not very well attended suppose the weather has put people off, it was really cold and windy.Slimming World at target0

Been to Asda to get a box of biscuits, had forgotten a present, Not one in sight, but struck lucky for mega reductions, had thought it too early as they don't close til 7 pm, got loaves, wraps, pittas, packs of salads, stirfry and casserole veg, fruit juices, yogurts, cottage cheese all at 10p 2 boxes satsumas £1 instead of 3.50 and a huge gammon joint marked up as 12.80, instead of 20.00 but went through till at 2.80
I told the SA who laughed and said, cant charge anymore than what comes up on till, enjoy it and go and get another one, I didn't but the woman behind me raced off to get one. So big thank you to Asda.
Now all I have to do is rearrange the freezer to get everything in.
Merry Christmas to all hope everyone has a fabulous Christmas day.Slimming World at target0 -
