Fancied fish and chips last night as I'd been very busy all day and had no time to cook. Drove past fish and chip shop to see if they were open on a Monday - yes. Decided to go to Mr S to get something for 'afters' I parked neatly in one of their slots. When I came out some 'lovely person' had backed their car into the space next to mine and it was so close I couldn't get the drivers door open more than 6ins. A while later I had a message put out over the tanor but to no avail. I had to wait for over an hour before they turned up. To add insult to injury they then decided to use their mobile before driving off.
I just wish I suffered from 'road rage' as blocking their car in and going to have a cup of coffee would have been nice not the 'well I don't care attitude' which they had. Needless to say the fish and chip shop had closed when I eventually got there - I was not a happy bunny.
I think this is appalling manners do not cost a thing. I probably would have seen redThat voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

zafiro1984 - you have far more patience than me as I would have probably broken a window on their car. How inconsiderate can some people be. Hate to think what DH would have done!
Still no spends this month at least not from the grocery budget anyway.
Tonight we had lamb chops, potatoes, carrots and some cabbage. Really enjoyed it as last couple of weeks we have had a number of snack type foods sandwiches, soup etc as not felt up to doing much cooking.MARCH £62.38/2500 -

been a busy wee beaver in kitchen today made a huge batch of chicken and potato biriyani, 2 sausage and stuffing plaits, and a big sausage casserole. Tomorrow I will make soup. won't need to buy anymore this week, other than milk as using my bread maker for all my breads.
happy with that as means might come in £30 under budget I allowed for the week. think I might just be getting the hang of this.0 -

So, er, I guess I should see where £240 gets me and go from there?
Also two of us (usually) and £240 seems good, and it allows me to save a bit for bulk buys and things like Chrissy. You just have to find what's good for you. Good luckFlorenceem wrote: »NSD here again.

Another NSD for me today - DH has the car again! Will do my main shop tomorrow for the week's food but don't think I'll need too much as think I have all the meat for the week and still have some fruit and veg left - with have to have a think about what veg I need between now and Tuesday, which is market day here and I've been trying to get my fruit and veg there as you get more for your money.

You may find that after drinking black coffee that white coffee won't be so appealing in the future and you can save money on milk:money:. I don't drink much coffee but when I do it has to be black - just don't like it with milk anymore, but tea is a different matter completely I just cannot drink that black!
