Still only had the one spend from December budget so pleased with that. Today will be another NSD as DH has the car so I can't get to shops and I only need a couple of things so will be those tomorrow when I go out to do some C present shopping - fortunately haven't got many left to buy so hoping I can finish it off tomorrow. Will then just have the horrible job of sorting everything out and wrapping it.
Everything needs to be sorted out early as we are away from 20th for a couple of weeks. Will be having a 2nd C in January with our DDs; DGD & DGS.

Hi everyone
Been off sick from work so haven't managed to log in. Am at home now for day of rest, but feeling well enough to get on the laptop.
No spends on groceries due to illness, and minimal food intake so no updates on that front either.
Have written my shopping list for this week though, so prepared for a quick efficient SM shop (fingers crossed)M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -

£45.35 at Tesc*s. Loads of potatoes, fruit and veg, and a few cupboard bits and bobs.
Only thing i will need to top up on is milk (i hope). Couldn't have fitted three for £3 on 1% stuff in the fridge.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £123.74/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Spent £60.67 yesterday plus 21.11 from my Christmas budget. Overspent for this week by £4.67 but I should have enough in to last well into next week. Got to make some pumpkin and parsnip soup with the last pumpkin - cost 10p just after Halloween. Should be able to freeze several portions.0

Well, not a good start to December. I had 10% off Oca**o so did an online shop there. Total came to £71.06. This included £7.00 discount & £26.42 on offers. I also had a £6 off coupon for Mr S which ran out today. I ended up spending £75.49!! But I bought lots of wine for Christmas. I originally bought 3 bottles for £12.00. Then the assistant said I could still have 25% off 6 bottles too. So I got 6 bottles for £20.37. Under £3.50 a bottle.
I used my coupon and also £20.00 of points to bring the bill down to £49.49.
I've decided to include any Christmas spends in my total for this month.
Off to update my signature & then tackle the ironing mountain.0 -
Went to the small ASDA near work to get bacon and lettuce...spent £12.24
For this I got;
2x 10 rashers of bacon (£4)
1x SP baked beans
1x SP digestives (for work)
2x condensed milk
1x Cadbury hot choc (small drum)
2 x SP milk choc to make cornflake cakes with at the weekend
1 x 385g red Leicester cheese
1 x pack of reduced bagels
1 x round lettuce
Don't feel I actually did too badly for the money spent just annoyed at forgetting to buy those bits at the weekend! Refusing to go to any grocery shops until NEXT Friday now - although may use a small bit from the budget at IKEA tomorrow on some no-alcoholic fizz I like and a couple of bits for the parents!
We have an evening meal out next Monday, bf is away Tues-Thursday night and then we are away from Friday to Sunday so we just need to by stuff in for 2 x cooked breakfasts whilst we are away (we won't eat a lunch due to having branchy breakfasts and tea on Friday/Saturday will be treats)************************************

Meal plan for this week
Sun Boiled Bacon, Mash & Sweetcorn
Mon Grandad's Cheese & Potato Pie
Tue LO Bacon, Egg, Chips & Beans
Wed FFYS
Thu FFYS
Fri Hot Dogs
Sat Jacket Pots
FFYS - Fend for yourself. I'm out with friends and have my office xmas party so the hubby has to sort himself out those two nights. There is plenty in the cupboard and freezer so he just has to heat/defrost something - minimal effort.
Quite irritated at myself today I had set aside LO from last nights meal (Sun) but when I got to work realised I had forgotten it:mad:
I had to buy my lunch (I work in London so lunches are not cheap) silver lining I had a voucher for a half price soup from Abokado so ended up only spending £1.99 but was really looking forward to my Boiled bacon and mashoh well less work for me for dinner tonight then, basically have the main ingredients for my Grandad's Cheese & Potato Pie already prepared.
Have to pop to Mr T tonight as even though I got a delivery from them yesterday morning I somehow forgot the marmite!!! Have some other items I need to pick up so hopefully just a small shop, I have some coupons and a price promise so hoping to keep it under £20. I have to carry it home so that should help me not to pile loads of items into the basket. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
