Can I join this month? Planning on spending £240 but it won't include the turkey. I have all the food and drink for Christmas except the fresh! This should be doable as both freezers and larder are packed. My secret fantasy is having 2 men....
1 cooking and 1 cleaning.0 -
I have my first spend of the month £3.50/175. I actually spent more than this but I'm keeping Christmas spends separate and my daughter bought some things and is giving me the money back.
Now my second, bill was £11.33 but there were some Christmas coins and chocolate puddings for Christmas Day for the children so I'm declaring £6.75 as real groceries bringing the total to £10.25/£1750 -
Hi All, just over £19 spent today in Lidl. That should be everything we need for the week food wise. We ran out of tin foil earlier so will need to get some tomorrow but other than that that should be us for this week.0

Thanks for the welcome. My December challenge officially starts today and I think I came in about £2 under for November. Really happy with that!
Had an oc##o shop delivered last night for£45 and counting it as December as it came after dinner so will be eaten and paid for in December. Next one will be 5th shop so will get the free champers in time for christmas! Also did an al*d1 shop yesterday on November budget so the store cupboard is well stocked. DH and I are going away for Xmas to a cottage so a few meals out will come from a hols budget and we have got all the Xmas booze to take with us. So there's no excuse for us to go over this month! (I hope):)Grocery challenge: dec 294/280, January 250/250, February 168/200:T march 258/2600 -

been a bad day for me money wise. spent £3 from my grocery budget £14 from my treat budget and then bought a Xmas tree which I didn't budget for. £260 down to £130 then 15% off on top. still £100 tree.
positive is still on track with my challenge0 -
HAD to go shopping today. Spent Mr T £15.80 and Al*i was £37.52 but did include re-stocking fridge, veg and 2 x half-legs of lamb (lamb total £13.39) so it wasn't too bad at total of £53.32.
Cooked both joints today and had roast lamb, roast pots, carrots, cauli. broc and gravy for dinner - YUMI will make another 2 lots of roast lamb in gravy for roasts and mince the rest for proper shepherd's pie - love it with LO lamb mince.
Just finished 3rd assignment for course and only 2 weeks to go SIGH - just so much work !!
Off to update siggy and then to bed :j
Hope you all have a fantastic Monday
