The zero spend weekend is going well here. I have a rice pudding in the slow cooker and have made some jam buns for us to have with a cup of tea if wanted.
Dinner tonight will be pizza and chips out of the freezer. Tomorrow's dinner will be mince and tatties.
We will probably have to do a shop on Monday, mainly for lunch bits for taking to work so that will be my first shop of December!
Heading over to the December board now.:wave:0 -
Spent about £40 today (and a naughty £4.odd on chippy on fri) taking us to pretty much at budget with another shop to go! Its a 5 week month again and so we do well on £40 a week for 2 of us (inc. cleaning stuff, shampoo, healthcare etc) but cant get it down much more than that. Our budget has been £160/month for about 3 years now so might be time to accept it needs to be upped a little for 5 week months. Got a £5 off £40 for next weeks Mr T shop so will need to spend at least £35 - hopefully not much more until december!
Forgot to add MrT has 5kg potatoes for £1.74 (half price) which I thought was a very good price since they are now £2-2.50 for 2.5kg at the mo! Lots of potatoes on the menu this week.....0 -

since its my first month I am going to take my full figure as my target to reduce, think I have said this already. but I have noticed I go shopping as a comfort when I am bored or feeling a bit down.
anyways have a good weekend all. think of me working away.
Yep I am the same but I think this food will be eaten and that if I had a clothes or shoes complex I would spend a Damn sight more.lolGc 2013 +26 -5. -4 -7 -14 -15 -10.-8.20 +15p+30+5.80 Dec +9 GROCERY challenge 2014 Jan -2Feb -3 March -1.50 April +5.40 May +4.90 June -3.July 16.50/85

I'm not sure what date in December i get paid (as it's my first full months wage), and so i am here until then.

I'm finding it hard to stick to the budget as girls are growing up so won't look to reduce budget but rather shop smarter so I don't have to increase it!DH, 2 DD and 2 cats. aiming to be mortgage free at 51, 10 years to go!
