Pheeeeww... little forgotten yellow butter tub with previous month's leftover cash has just proven it's worth. Under £5 in it but enough to get the pajama pants/nappies plus I can grab a natural yoghurt to try Jack's bircher breakfast
I had a carpenter here yesterday - was able to pay some of his bill with surplus GC cash.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I had to swing by B00ts yesterday evening, and called into Tesc0 while I was there (it's right next door). I'm doing really well with my budget so far, and have £52 left for the rest of the month. I need to spend £10 tomorrow at Aldo's, and probably the same again next week. I estimate having at least £20 left come the end of the month.
I'm doing really well with my mission to empty my cupboards, and aim to have them stripped bare by Christmas so I can move to a new place in the new year.0 -
We had a quick shop in Mr A this weekend, and spent 19.49. I will have £2.15 cashbach, netting this outing at 17.34. Managed to find a couple of YS bargains - cucumbers for 5p and pineapples for 30p. Bought one of each for us, and the same for our niece who is having a difficult time at the moment. Away for most of this week, so have to start using our fresh bits up!Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

Also thought about making cheese biscuits. Any other ideas welcome.
Its very interesting though. Still hoping to come in on budget.
If you get them to keep the yogurt pots you could make some jellies (with a bit of fruit) in the pots for the end of the week. Just wrap in cling-film.

Today is the first of the month for me so my budget starts anew. Last month I joined partway through the month and my budget was £189.93 and I spent....£151.21 :j :j
I wouldn't have been so focused without this thread, so thank you so much ♥
I'm doing a full month's budgeting, and keeping £20 from last month to buy treats for Christmas, so my budget for Nov/Dec is £270 please.0 -
£3.50 spend yesterday on packed lunch bits in Mr M. Need to do a big shop though asap. Being at work is definitely helping me budget more, as too busy/ no inclination to shop as much. I'd have normally hit the the budget by now.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. I had another NSD yesterday and today will be as well as DH has the car and I've also got to wait in for a couple of parcels and a mobile guy who's going to change the tyres on our Motorhome for winter ones so we don't slip and slide all over the place if the weather's bad or we're parked up on grass (which we obviously try to avoid in winter. So that is now 4 in a row - don't think I've done that before.
Will need to go shopping tomorrow but need to get quite a few things including getting some frozen veg as all I've got left in the freezers is half a bag of spinach! Don't think I've ever not had some new packs in one or other of the freezers but this challenge and the NSD challenge are definitely making me use some stuff up and I only replace when absolutely necessary now.
