Popped in to co-op to get some bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms. They had some great YS food, but i didnt get any because i dont need it.

Tonight for dinner i had a huge grill up; 2 bacon, 1 sausage, scrambled eggs, 1 hash brown, 1 granary bap, 2 grilled tomatoes and 2 grilled mushrooms. It probably took me about 2 mins to eat the lot as it was just lovely!

Have made my meal plan for the week:

    Monday-omelette, salad, potatas bravas
    Tuesday- Curry, cous-sous, nann
Wednesday- TITH + veggies and salad
    Thursday- LO curry in JPs
Friday-Chinese Chicken, fried rice, prawn crackers
    Saturday-Cottage Pie
    Sunday- LO cottage pie.

    :)

Went to a food fair today and bought lots.:D Many brands on offer and got lots of freebies. Even though I will eat/drink what I bought I had budgeted separately for the event so won't add it to my total.

I need to fish out receipts from mr t, marksies and the huuuggggeeee b&m that has just opened to add to my total. DH couldn't believe we got 2 big bags of food and Christmas stuff for £16 in b&m:rotfl:

I will definitely be using them to stock up on cereal, beans etc.

    Just £1 on milk today.
Busy day here. Chap doing odd jobs plus hanging some new doors. Lots of mess - sawdust and wood shavings plus door open as he was sawing etc in the back garden. So I was cold as well as sweeping up all the time.
Still so pleased to not have 3 doors standing in the hall anymore. A friend wanted the old 1970s doors that we replaced - collected them already.
Had an easy meal - HM Jerk Wedges + baked beans + poached egg.

I'm at £187 of £200 but as I have a freezer stocked with plenty of stuff for main meals, plus £40+ in ne3ctar points, I'm not too worried. Not far off £10 has gone on shampoo, buying Tresemme and Herbal essences at 3 for 2 in Sainsbury. Brand Match receipt said my shopping was £11 cheaper than the other supermarkets, got double points.

Going to make a casserole tomorrow, may even use my slow cooker for the first time, hopefully it will do more than one meal.

I've meal planned until the weekend with pretty basic meals and have a mystery shop later this week which will help towards me saving a little.

An NSD for me today but must go shopping tomorrow.

S-O on the go with a triple lot of Beef Bourguignon - smells lovely. Also started a big pot of Ratatouille but it will have to be finished tomorrow and then all above will go to freezer. Have frozen 6 generous helping of the LO veg-in-the-fridge soup today. Then just a load of Bramleys to cook and freeze down, some for puds and some for sauce. ;) Have a pot-roast to do for tomorrow when S-O free, with veg and roasties and cook-in will be over :j

I know I'm trying to run down freezers, but DS2 will arrive this week and he will be a big help towards that :rotfl:

Hope you all having a good weekend
