@Happy_Sloth, here's a few ideas to get you started: both the ground almonds and ricotta can be used in baking, say muffins or even a lemon, almond and ricotta cake (flourless baking). Make a pack of quinoa and mix it with tin tuna, fresh tomatoes for lunch. Pack of lentils and some potatoes can be the start of a veg curry. With the fresh tomatoes use the onea that are turning first either fresh or in curry instead of tinned tomatoes. My favourite is to slow roast them and then stickblender to use as topping for pizza or the base for pasta sauce. Can also be frozen in muffin tray portions to just add to dishes.
Use the seasoning and the red wine vinegar for marinade of the joints or a dry rub.
    Hope that helps!

Out:  individual pie made a couple of weeks ago. I think turkey and mushroom but could be turkey and ham. I really must get around to labelling things. Apple pieces for a crumble.

We where abit naughty last couple of days, was mind and the OH 19th wedding anniversary so we had an indian.  As we are comply incapable of actually ordering 1 meals worth of food it did us for 2 days!

Yesterday i cooked up all the leftover tomatos we had, with a sad looking pepper and 2 separate halves of onions! into a pasta sauce which i've got in 3 tubs in the freezer.  Must remember to use it BEFORE opening the jar's of pasta sauce we have.  I don't really want it taking up freezer space for too long but we always get to many tomatos in the veg box and it's a good way of using them up.

I have 3 lemons... i can't make up my mind if i want to attempt a lemon drizzle cake or just chop them for G&T and freeze them.  Me and the OH are trying to diet (she says after eating indian haha) so making cake is a slippery slope.. but i haven't made DS1 any treats in a while an i know he's out of snacks so he'd be eternally grateful for cake!  As im trying to do a minimal spend month i don't really want to have to buy biscuits! ... hmm i think it might have to be cake!

I didn't watch Martin but I've just come back from my weekly shop......... I  am also now aiming not to food shop until the end of the month.  I'll never get these freezers empty enough to store the veg that are now growing without focusing on the job.
