Got my covid jab this afternoon so wanted to come back to a hot meal ready.

Doing a clearout and then decorating, so capitulated and got some easy things for the freezer to save on cooking.
In: chips, pizza, calamari. Olives, crisps. Various seasonings ran out of during the last month. No worchestire sauce? No problem, got marmite  :D
    Out: nothing yet.
Saw these yummy steaks at A1d1's, marketed for valentines day, but thought, why would i spend that money if i have a lovely beef joint at home at a 1/3 of the price?! Was very proud of myself resisting.
@pamsdish fingers crossed for this afternoon, hope it all goes well.

In:  small leg of lamb joint which I will chop up into chunks to make a tagine (it worked out a lot cheaper than buying pre-cut lamb leg steak which were also very thin so not very good chunks!, haddock fillet which DH will smoke for meals over the next few weeks; frozen cherries
Out:  burgers and rolls for lunch; beef stew for dinner tomorrow night

Like @pamsdish wanted something easy tomorrow night as have my jab tomorrow morning👍
