Still have 2 beef joints to portion, have sliced one thinly and currently marinating for beef jerky, was planning on cutting one today, eating a portion and freezing possibly 2 joints, ALAS/JOY my neighbour popped over with 2 beautiful duck legs, she doesn`t fancy now. Might look up a duck confit recipe.
Do I need it or just want it.1 -
Confit is definitely the best way to eat duck legs but it does take a very long time! I used to buy them ready cooked when on holiday in France and just needed to fry them to warm them up - lovely!
