Haggis deferred until tomorrow, my lamb was a sad disappointment and have a large chunk left, so will chuck into the instant pot with stew veg for today.

Got our a couple of rump steaks yesterday for tonight's dinner for DH and I which we had with jacket potato, fried onions & mushrooms.

Gammon & veg casserole out ready for tomorrow night's dinner.  Just have to reheat and make some mash to go with it.

The 3 things I very seldom use, I have dried milk for visitors, bread flour and yeast IF I require bread, but as I low carb bread and potatoes don`t figure much in my diet.

Apparently, a work colleague was moved to stock up on frozen and canned food after I mentioned that we could probably last a couple of weeks from our cupboards alone if we had to. My one good deed for the week, I feel.

Re the staples, I have plant milk anyway, but have enough bread flour/oats to cope with a bread shortage and neither of us eat many potatoes. I think we'd miss fresh fruit most - OH has it with his breakfast although we have several large bags of frozen raspberries and blackberries, so we'd cope..

In: 3 portions of spiced potato soup and 4 of carrot soup. Potato soup wasn't a success - it was very tasty, but the texture was too much like watered-down mash for my liking. However, an egg and some flour should make some acceptable potato cakes (I hope!)
Out: 8 hot-x buns (ys from about 2 months ago) now recycled as bread-and-butter pudding, 2 portions smoked fish for kedgeree, portion of red wine for Jack Munroe mushroom risotto.

Out:  yesterday small ham, now cooked in the slow cooker going to use it for turkey/ham pie.  I only tend to use bits at a time as I like to keep the salt content in our diet quite low so I'll freeze most of it in pieces and use it later in flans, soup, toasted sandwiches etc. Various vegetables, I'm still working my way through the things from the veg plot which I froze last year. More icecream because I couldn't be bothered to make a pudding last night.

I haven't been shopping at all this month  :) Two reasons, I'm staying away from crowds as I'm in the 'at risk' category and It's focused my mind and effort into using what I already have in the freezers, cupboards etc. Having said that, I still can't see any gaps in the freezers - it just shows how much I overspend and horde

In - Bits of cooked ham. I've already used some for a flan and toasted sandwiches - Ham toasted sandwiches are just the best
Out: - milk, bread, last of the ice-cream on sticks, shortcrust pastry, uncooked HM Christmas pudding, one small wrap.
