Eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge - part two

  • Have had a back spasm all week which although painful (had to call doctor out) it means I have been using freezer stock. H/m soup previously frozen in single portions have been used for lunches, various frozen meals bought when reduced, some easy to cook either pre-made or bought meat products and always have plenty of veg in freezers so although really can hardly move, it has proved good for stocks. Had to ask for bread and eggs, oo and oats to be brought in today. Thank goodness for freezers.

The weather had cleared early Sunday morning after all. This led to purchases of "clearance" bags of frozen brussels sprouts and reduced price cucumbers. Consequently, although the freezer continues to get fuller, my main focus is to use up 2017 freezer stored batch cooked recipes.

Still using up 2017 freezer batch cooked recipes but not any completely.

Did well in the last few months (2017) of this challenge whereas this year so far is much harder.

Still no change from yesterday in my set challenge. However, nearly did two online (food) orders but didn't. It still, therefore, should be another week for my usual delivery.
