Oh I've been naughty. I couldn't resist a farm shop we passed by at the weekend and although I was almost at the bottom of my freezer, It is now quite full again. Some great bulk buy bargains though and everything has been cut up and portioned so should keep us going for a while.

Zafiro1984 - No door handle?!! Eek! Isn't it awful when you forget something you're trying so hard to remember? Were you 'locked in' for long?
Yesterday -
In - nothing
Out - 8 chicken drumsticks
Used up - 2 carrots, 1 courgette, 1 red pepper from fridge
Today -
In - 4 chicken drumsticks (sob! Sorted out more of mum's freezer), 2 slabs of cheddar cheese, beef mince, 2 x steaks. And yesterday's leftovers went back in too.
Out - nothing
Used up - 1 pack of corned beef from fridge, also carrots & potatoes (made corned beef hash).
So annoying. It felt so good to use up 8 drumsticks yesterday, and now I not only have yesterday's leftovers, but I have 4 new drumsticks to use up. Not to mention the other stuff from mum's freezer.
With all this good weather supposedly on the way, perhaps I should invite people over for a barbecue and use up the chicken drumsticks. I'm guessing I probably have about 20 of the darned things still!! Hmmm. This is sounding like a good idea. . . .0 -
