Eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge - part two

Back home after op and recovery at daughter's so am using freezer stuff I had made pre-op. Son brings me cooked dinners (the meaty part) but they have large portions so they make 2 meals for me, even my own bol mix now makes 2 meals, must be off feed at the moment. Did manage to get a box of wonky veg last week, reduced from £3.50 to £2.99 and have used most of it so not used a lot of the frozen veg. Noticed top drawer of freezer has quite a build up of ice so will just have to try hard to use stuff so freezer can be defrosted as soon as I am fit enough (or get some-one to do it for me). Tinned goods have also reduced quite a lot so will have to restock a little but lesson has been learnt honest! Tinned fruit, evap, corned beef, veg. Onwards and upwards.0

Made a huge vat of Arrabiatta sauce, turkey muffins, Chicken Bacon and Mushroom casserole and baked sweet potatoes. All gone in the freezer. It's filling up again and the MF order hasn't arrived yet.
However, the new season lamb for lunch was delicious, and well worth the expense. It will do DH and I another meal and then probably a curry.
Tonight I have used up an about to turn Avocado with tuna and salad. I'm going to make custard to have over some YS raspberries.
We have 2 large milk chocolate Easter eggs which I need to resist. I'm going to find a recipe an bake with them for DH to take something with lunches.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

K9sandFelines How do you remember what you used last Saturday. I have trouble remembering what I did yesterday let alone 4 days ago:rotfl:
Out:- a portion of plain cooked venison and one of plain cooked plums. I'll turn the venison into a casserole with some vegetables from the fridge and the plums into a pie. - that's tea sorted
In:- I needed to go to the bank this AM and the only place to park was in the M&S carpark. On the way back I spotted quite a lot of fish were displaying YS so quite a bit ended up in my trolley. It didn't do much for the monthly food budget but at least it will be make nice change.0 -
K9sandfelines - i don't like chilli chocolate either. I like chilli and i like chocolate though. I got given some so I've been adding it a bit at a time to any veggie chillies I've made. That works fine and adds to the taste.
Hubby made us toad in the hole last night for tea and used up the last of the frozen quorn sausages thank goodness. I've realised i really don't like them, they have a strange texture. I took leftover black bean and pineapple stew in for lunch today so there's no leftovers left in the fridge now. :-)
Toast for tea tonight as we're rushing out to a concert. A rare treat!0 -

I would be exactly the same if it wasn't for my fitness pal. I have a rough idea from that what has gone out, and i cross reference anything in with spends on YNAB, otherwise i would be cluelessGC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
