Really easy to claim the cashback too - towards the end of the process Daligas will send you an email to confirm your switchover, just forward that to the email address Energylinx provide with their reference number and the details of where your want the cashback paid into.
I'm saving £22 a month compared to my old provider - shocking how we were both paying way too much for the same product and Daligas' service with monthly emails works well.

SS - I think you're my lucky charm as I've had a wanting to view enquiry on the car :j:j Just waiting to hear when they want to come now.
Carpet in spare room is down and looks really good. The guys are happy to fit the old one in my study when I'm ready - can't say I would enjoy clearing out the study as it's chocca with bookcases (and therefore books!) and all my work stuff. The desk is also only held up by the cupboards either side  Will have to find room to store the carpet until then!
Quick lunch here then am off for this work meeting.
Hope everyone's day is going well.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Excellent. Fingers crossed for a sale. I've just got my job confirmation too. All looking good :rotfl::rotfl:
:T:T
ps. I have just worked out what GC is in your signature. Looks good. I was spending about £500 a month but am trying to cut it back to £300. If I could cut back to £20 a week that would be amazing especially with the impending salary drop. I'm going to pop over there and look at joining. Everything crossed for following in your good news SS with my car being viewed tomorrow at 10am - fairly local person too. :T Forecast is for mixed cloud and sun, no rain, which is excellent news.
Work meeting this afternoon went well - we split the bill but had exactly the same anyway - fish finger sandwiches :rotfl: and cappucino with unlimited refill. Cost £7.99 and a big caffeine hit
I need to start on the routine weekend housey stuff soon and get on top of work stuff in readiness for next week - it is going to be a busy first week back from what I've added to my schedule so far. :j
We've also a birthday BBQ (buffet if raining) to go to tomorrow tea time, so will be fed and watered for free.
Financials then:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar adpoints - another 4 pts and up at 64
- Nectar Canvass - did an 80 pointer
- Nectar card value - still at £63.83
- Inbox Pounds - coming along nicely at £10.73
- Qmee - another 10p picked up
P!necone have added the points for yesterday's survey, so I can turn those into cash now and pay out the £3 to Paypal. :TBack on the DFW Wagon:

Feel free to join in the Grocery Challenge - everyone is lovely over there too and lots of helpful hints, tips and tons of recipes at the start of each month's thread.
It's recommended to cut down bit by bit on the budget and don't get disheartened if you go over - just getting a really clear picture of what you buy, how often, the cost in different shops, etc, is really helpful and will help you hone it. I'm an Ald! convert and save about £15 a week by shopping there rather than Sbugs. I know not everyone has an Ald! in reach, but if you do, it's worth trying it. I buy a few Basics in Sbugs still as they are cheaper than Ald!, similarly a few bits in Farm F00ds (loo rolls and sugar), also a few bits in Wilkos (Stardrops for cleaning for example).
Lots of acronyms for sure! I'm still working some out too! :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Thanks Beanie - having got used to the idea of letting it go, I'm impatient for it to be sold now! :rotfl:
Will need to set the alarm clock for the morning I think - that will give me chance to walk doglets and make sure the car is spotless before the viewer arrives. I've got a bit used to laying in these past few daysBack on the DFW Wagon:

Morning folks
Up bright and early before the alarm went off, so 2 lots of washing already done and out on the line and gas and elec meters read and readings gone into my spreadsheet. As expected, electricity shot up by 10 units a la typical school holiday extra use.
Sports car out and looking good ready for it's 10am viewing. Weather is very cloudy and does look like rain, but it's meant to stay dry (here's hoping with washing out too!).
A few financials done already:
- bank account checked
- Nectar adpoints checked - nothing extra as yet, still on 64
- Nectar Canvass - another email in with a survey ready
- Nectar card - up at £64.43
- Inbox Pounds - moving on up quite quickly and at £11.42
- Qmee - another 10p picked up this morning - I've just cashed out 52p to Paypal
- P!necone - just cashed that £3 out to Paypal as well
Monthly use and pay off CC has rolled over, so full payment set up to go out on 16th June. 39 Nectar points from that.
I've ordered some theatre tickets for October - 1 is a birthday present but we're going with them as they requested. £77.50
I will need to fill up with personal use fuel en route to collecting Mum to go to niece's 21st birthday do - have got a 6p off a litre to use for that.
DS doesn't want his June pocket money tomorrow! He wants me to keep it and when we get to July, put the 2 months together as there's something he wants to buy online. Moved it on my budget sheet which makes it look like there is spare this month.
Time to either do some housework or sort work stuff. I am avoiding the latter I know. No real reason, think I need to move me and the laptop to the study and get my 'work head' on.
Will update on car as and when there is news.Back on the DFW Wagon:

I've taken a deposit, issued a receipt and he'll be sorting the balance and collection date during the week and will phone me to arrange.
