Feeling much better today thanks Rach, though DS was pretty pale and felt sick before school this morning, he even left most of his breakfast - most unlike the hollow legs of said teenager. I still sent him on his way and fortunately he felt better by mid morning. Wonder if we picked up a little bug or something - very little given no real illness :rotfl:

MiT we were getting not far off needing safari suits too :rotfl: thankfully the weather has been mostly sunny and dry today and I cut the grass this afternoon. I've been waiting for nearly 5 weeks since DS agreed to do it :rotfl:

Nearly caught up on everything else now too, however the car saga is not a closed case. Said chap text me early this morning, he still wants the car and is trying to get the extra funds together to pay my bottom line price. Playing the waiting game now, so watch this space!

Alex - your sage advice and help throughout the whole process thus far has been invaluable. Thank you :T

I've done the P!necone survey for £3 too and changed my password on eBay after it was on the news their database with all ebayers personal details was hacked into  Date of birth, address, passwords, everything - they apparently got the lot.

No sweet treats still even with DS scoffing an Ald! chocolate bar right under my nose  Being good with fruit and yoghurts again :A

    Financials then:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery (day) - checked
    - Nectar adpoints - all done and up to 62 points
    - Nectar Canvass - a 40 pointer done
    - Nectar card - up at £62.67
    - Inbox Pounds - a little done and up to £5.19
    - Qmee - picked up another 5p

Looking forward to a chill out evening and probably more surveys on IP :rotfl: I know how to live it up :D

  • I changed e-bay password too, Shocking isn't it that hackers can get such info so easily. Dishonesty rips my knitting. Why do people need to do that. I listen to folks lying to me all the time in my job and they obviously think I'm an eejit. I just call them on it and tell them I find their stories improbable and that's when the abuse usually kicks in

We also had a slight bug type thing over the weekend. I had such a headache and was dizzy but nothing major. DD then said the same. Whole thing ended with a sore throat then disappeared. I also had a roaring temp for a few hours. I still went to work :rotfl:

    You are most welcome, Ali.

As for eBay this is the first I have heard about hackers, off to change my password right now, thanks. :)

Fingers crossed they haven't got into paypal, I've got quite an amount of money that I leave in there. Perhaps, I need to think about taking it out after this.

    Sports car a go-go :j:j and :(:(

Sale agreed at the right price, payment and collection tonight.

I'll soon have an empty garage to put all our junk in :rotfl:

    Actually what it means, is:

    a) debt can be paid off
    b) I can sort the garden playhouse (DS's old one) and the rotten thing removed and car boot stuff properly sorted
    c) I might use some of the leftover to rent a proper office so expanding the business slowly
    d) I can start saving

    :D:D:D:D:D

It is Moo and I know it's the right thing to do, though emotionally it is going to be hard watching it driven away.

It's not just been any old car to me, has big sentimental value, but they'd also be proud that I am doing the sensible thing money wise. :)

I had better do some work or I won't have a business left to run with all this time out :rotfl:

  • Ali that is brilliant news. Sad at the same time but needs must and it's for the good of long term living. Hope we don't lose you because you will be debt free

You won't get rid of me that easily MiT :rotfl: It will just mean the end of Chapter 1 and the start of Chapter 2 with different goals and having my diary and you wonderful people, gives me the impetus and confidence to go get 'em. :D

Car buyer is coming to pay and collect tomorrow night now, not a problem just 24 more hours of agony :rotfl:

I am already thinking about what is in DS's old playhouse that can be eBayed, Gumtree'd and car booted :D I've been reading an old post that Moomin wrote about selling specific Lego pieces - the trunk of DS's Lego is probably an income stream all of it's own. :rotfl:
