    Morning folks..or almost afternoon!

Awake and up ridiculously early at 5.30am, so doglets got an extra long walk, I got the business admin done and coloured my hair!

Went off to the local nursery for 9am and bought the bedding plants for the pots and baskets. Usually I budget £20-£30 but have plants left over, so only spent £6.78 on 30. All potted up and looking good.

Having charged the new toy of a cordless hedgetrimmer from my birthday present, shrubs and hedge in the front garden have been given a nice hair cut. :D

11p was added to the Qmee pot, so I quickly transferred that and changed the CC payment to £53.24 - then realised I'd be left with 02p on the end of the CC figure. Can't be having that, so now sending £53.26 tomorrow. :T

Another enquiry regarding the car has come in this morning, so I've replied to that. It's going to sell isn't it? :( I am so torn - the money from it and the garage space would both be very useful, as would the lack of bills next Spring. Not forgetting my lower back problem. No, it's got to go. Someone hold me to that. :D

Just doing a quick lunch and then dropping DS off at the birthday bash. Back garden will then get my attention. :)

It's all been happening here this afternoon. :)

The car enquirer from this morning is coming to view tomorrow after work  and of course, with the lovely weather I've been using it, which means it's got a bit dusty. I've spent ages wiping every nook and cranny, hoovering and polishing so it's spotless again and tucked up in the garage.

That meant the other garden jobs and the grass didn't get cut...not sure when it will get done now and it's been 2 weeks since the last cut.

    Financials then:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery (both) checked
    - Nectar adpoints - picked up 7 today, so finishing the week on 60
    - Nectar canvass - oops, not looked
    - Nectar card value - gone up again to £62.32
    - Inbox Pounds - up a bit to £4.49
    - Qmee - 11p this morning (as in previous post)

A new week beckons and work is busy up until Thursday at the moment, so my week off might start a day early if I can't bring anything forward into this month. It's also pay myself day on Friday. :)

Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

  • Good luck tomorrow with the potential sale. That's nice that he's a gent :)

Well I'm worn out and the grass still isn't cut.

I still have my car, but 3 offers on price were made, 2 I've rejected and the latest I'm thinking over as it's still over 10% under asking price. He is keen and genuine, I know that much, but I still think it's worth more and I'll probably say no tomorrow.

It was gone 7.30pm by time we'd wrapped up, so the first take away in goodness knows how long was bought - shared chip shops chips with jumbo sausage for DS and fish cake for me - £3.85 spent.

    Financials then:
    - bank account checked - monthly use and pay all CC payment gone out today
    - Nectar adpoints and canvass - not looked at
    - Nectar card up to £62.62
    - Inbox Pounds - up at £4.83
    - Qmee - nothing today

I need an early night, shattered and brain feels frazzled. Wouldn't mind so much if it was from sitting out in the sun! :rotfl:

No sweet treats, just lots of water today. :)

Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

Feeling quite unwell today, but battled through work and made a decision on the final price offer from last night for the car - I rejected it. A couple of things that they tried to lower the price on I got checked out today with my local inde garage who service it and the buyer was wrong and this is when I feel like they're trying to take advantage of a woman selling and not knowing stuff. So back to square one for the moment, but it's early days still.

I spent £15 on personal use petrol in the runaround and TCB had a snap and save £2, so have uploaded receipt and that's tracking.

Weekly shop done in Ald! tonight and spent £23.62, including big bag of dog food. Not too bad, but they didn't have a few things that I wanted for the meal plan, as well as I had to get a few other things for DS's cooking at school on Friday. Will change meal plan and see if we can get through without buying anything else until next week's shop.

    Financials:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
    - Nectar adpoints - only did the 16 point offering, will try and catch up tomorrow
    - Nectar canvass - not looked at
    - Nectar card - still at £62.62
    - Inbox Pounds - very little done today so a smidgeon up at £4.94
    - Qmee - picked up 15p searching for info to do with the car for sale. Nice little earner :D

I've got a P!necone survey come in (£3) so need to do that tomorrow. Lots of catching up on surveys to do across the board! Grass still needs cutting too :( but I am remembering to water the bedding plants morning and night from the water butt. :)

No sweet treats again today, but plenty of healthy stuff - quiche, salad stuff, yoghurt, pear and apple.

Bed is calling. Sooo tired again. :)

  • Well done on the NST. I was narking at DS tonight re cutting grass but in his defence grass hasn't been dry enough to cut. I did say I would be needing a safari suit soon just to go out the front door if he doesn't get round to it. I refuse to do it now as he is a big lump and he can get it sorted :rotfl:
