Sending get well thoughts for your mum and soothing thoughts for you - it's horrible when family is ill ♥0

Thanks for your messages and support.
Mum will likely be coming out tomorrow, as they're not going to do anything invasive. Sort of a viscous circle as this is the fourth occurrence and no real resolution, but guess age and her other medical conditions come into play.
DB will take charge tomorrow but I'll get involved later subject to timings with finishing work and meeting DS after school.
Spends today then:
£6.50 parking, though DB will be able to use her blue badge for collecting tomorrow so that will be free.
£8.00 chocs for A&E staff and ward - Mum's insistence
£2.00 pocket money from Mum to DS (advance on it being due tomorrow). Not entirely sure how I agreed that one, but that's what tiredness does..just go along with it for peace and quiet!
Very nearly succumbed to a take away as so tired (even my computer glasses aren't helping my sight tonight :rotfl:), but no, 10 mins to cook pasta and 2 mins to heat bolognese sauce and we had a healthy meal to eat. Does feel good to have resisted a Maccy-D's.
Financials:
-bank account checked. There's a £25 Christmas cheque that hasn't been cashed by it's recipient yet.
-freepostcodelottery checked
-Nectar card value - £29.32
-Inbox Pounds - £7.32
An early night beckons and should sleep very well, though I am tempted to do a couple of surveys just to keep numbers going upwards.
Hope everyone has had a good day.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Ali, just popping in with a hug and guilt-free virtual chocolate bar! Hope your mum recovers quickly, and I sympathise with the horrendous car park charges.....our hospital makes over £4 MILLION a year from parking charges!!! And, always take your own snacks! My youngest has gone in many a time with asthma, and our routine while getting coats and shoes on ready to go includes a raid-the-kitchen-cupboards stop for drinks and snacks!!!
You're doing so well, I'm still here on the sidelines cheering you on, shaking my pom poms!!!! (ooh ER missus!!!) Hugs to you and DS

Thanks Molly and it's lovely to 'see' you :j
The car park charges are shocking, even worse they've eaten up all my £2 and £1 coins from my change tin, so I'll be starting all over again putting those away.
You sound well organised when you have to go, my first thought last night was 'I'll miss having a cup of tea, I'm taking some of my own'
Great to have pom-pom waving too - all support welcomed
I've just completed some easy bits on Inbox Pounds and pushed that up to £7.40. Don't think my eyelids would stay open long enough for 25 minute surveys :rotfl:
Definitely time for bed shortlyDS has landed on me an intended trip to the laser centre after school tomorrow with a friend... hmm, will discuss with him in the morning!

Just a quick catch up - good to hear your mum is recovering. Bah to car park charges......caught us out on Wednesday as we had annual trip to 'over the border' specialist hospital.....of course hospital car parking is free here as are prescriptions ( learnt my lesson on that one - ask what is being prescribed and get my own GP back home to prescribe it:) Luckily machine took debit cards as neither of us had remembered any change.

Ahh, Friday evening and we're all back to normal
Mum is home, DB has done everything and I'm still playing catch up on tiredness!
A busy day for me workwise and looking forward to waking up naturally tomorrow.
Meal plan was changed from fish fingers and chips to LO duck, cous cous, roasted peppers, mushrooms and sour cream - I felt I needed something a bit more substantial than processed/fat foods to keep me going and had got everything in as it was planned for later next week.
Meal plan for next week:
Sat - chill, rice and garlic bread
Sun - Roast gammon and trimmings
Mon - Gammon, chips and peas (probably egg too)
Tue - Potato and gammon suet pudding and veg
Wed - Spag Bol
Thur - Baked pots, cheese and beans
Fri - Fish fingers, chips and peas (was the LO duck!)
Financials:
- Bank account checked, TT still haven't taken Jan's DD and there's no info on my account page. Will wait another week as the new deal will kick in and a bill will be due anyway.
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Nectar adpoints - up to 67 points
- Nectar canvass - did 2 surveys today - 160 points
- Nectar card up to £29.36
- Inbox Pounds up to £8.03
There are still no bids on my eBay items, but lots of watchers, so am hoping something will happen before they end!
Had a NSD today and hoping for a low spend weekend. I do need to book doglet No.2 into the vets for her booster jab for early Feb which will probably be about £40 and I must post the remaining Jan birthday cards off either tomorrow or Monday latest.
DS didn't go laser playing - the details were too flaky and he didn't feel comfortable either given that, but I've said he can go if it's organised properly for another time.
Would really like to get my pamper time in this weekend, as well as all the domestic stuff, more points/pennies, a bit more study declutter and find a few things for Music Magpie. Won't beat myself up if I don't get everything done though, just not being tired would be nice
Hope everyone has had a good day and I will catch up on diaries properly tomorrow.

I've spotted a freudian slip on my meal plan....
'Sat - Chill, rice and garlic bread' :rotfl: I have taken chilli out of the freezer.
Seems my sub-conscious mind was insistent on relaxing today
Have done odds and ends so far - 80 pt Nectar canvass survey, 8p on Inbox Pounds, washing, bins, towels and beds changed. General tidying up - how does everything get in the wrong place so often!
Lunch next and also DS is very keen to go to the Tank Fest at Bovington at the end of June, so am looking at accommodation for that - could be an expensive weekend trip :eek:Back on the DFW Wagon:
