The march to financial freedom

What to do with about 30 onions is the question of the day! :rotfl: Alot of onion gravy probably
Good work day here and nice to finish at a reasonable time with nothing pressing to do until tomorrow.
I've written a list of the sites I am using for collecting points and pennies, as they're mounting up and I'll most likely forget to check one otherwise.
Financials:
-Bank account checked
-freepostcodelottery checked
-Inbox Pounds - £7.01
-Nectar Adpoints - no advance on 47
-Nectar Canvass - 0 today
-Nectar Card value - up at £28.61
-P!necone paid £3 to paypal so I've moved that to my bank account.
Still need to look out either more DVDs or CDs for the Music Magpie pile. Will do that this evening hopefully, but I also need to do the weekly food shop tonight (a day early) as we are almost out of milk, totally out of spread and eggs. DB might get his first trip to Ald! - that'll be an eye opener for him!
A busy evening in prospect, but I'm enjoying it all. I am also having to deal with DS being worried we are desperate for money with selling things and being hot on his tails on switching off electricals. So lots of reassurance and 'it's stuff we don't want anymore' and all seems to be well.
Hope everyone is having a good dayBack on the DFW Wagon:

Hope you resist the shoes
Me too! The lady that sells them used to do it from home which has been easier to resist and not go there when my friend does. A shop is a different matter

A quick update on food shop, as unfortunately my Mum is on her way to A&E in an ambulance and we're waiting for a call in order to meet them on arrival
Spent £19.15 in Aldi so not the £15 I had hoped for but still under the £20 budget. Nothing exceptional in there but I've meal planned and will write that up when I've some more time.
Probably a long night ahead, at least I don't have a client meeting until the afternoon tomorrow. DB is due in work at 6am, so there's a bit of running around going on behind the scenes at the mo getting children, adults and cars in the right places.
Off to make a flask of tea to take and some biscuits - still got to be MSE as can't stand machine tea :rotfl: Car parking is about £6 for a few hours as well. I've raided my change tin for that.
Fingers crossed it's not serious (re-occurrence of a previous issue).Back on the DFW Wagon:

Aww, thanks for your kind words. :A
Am back home, Mum's been kept in and the surgical team will review in the morning. They're talking of further investigations and exploratory surgery.
I am going to reschedule the client meeting due - DB can't get time off today, but is off on Friday so we'll swap over the running around/visiting and there's quite a bit of stuff I need to do/sort out for her in the meantime. I have a list
Glad I took my flask and biscuits tooIt was very warm in there and the air is so dry. Have to say, fabulous staff and seen and dealt with really quickly and kept informed of what they were doing and what the next step was. Top marks to them.
Need to get some sleep, but feel wide awake at the moment, so will sort out the next £6.50 for parking tomorrow :eek:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Thanks Rach,
Feeling ok at the moment on 3 hrs sleep, suspect tiredness will kick in later on, probably whilst I'm sat at her bedside - that won't impress her!
Going to crack on with some work here, then head off to her house and grab/sort a few things, then hospital this afternoon.
Budgets fly out of the window with these sort of things - extra petrol and parking fees, but still taken out bolognese from the freezer for dinner tonight and will be taking my flask of tea again with me this afternoon
Hope everyone has a good day and I'll pop in later when I can.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Yes it's true...budgets do fly out of the window but that's OK. At least you are a money saver without thinking now!
Take care of yourself. Wishing mum a speedy recovery
