So thanks to Ig posting on Rach's diary about Zapper, I've input the bar codes of all the unwanted books, DVDs and games (from old PSP) into the site.

28 have been offered on with a value of £25.67 :j A few of them are DS's so I shall give him his money for those, the rest when the cheque arrives, will go straight off my CC.

Bit too late for my pamper time now and I'd better crack on get DS's bags ready for the morning  Time has run away.

Ooh, brisket beef was delicious and hardly shrunk in cooking, so it will definitely stretch to 2 more days. :)
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18

It is very satisfying inputting a code and getting a price come up, even when it's just 25p :D

My old little Pitman Shorthand book was worth £5, so there were some nice surprises too.

Comparable to the supermarket barcode beep - enjoy :D

When I said this week should be calmer work wise, I spoke a little too soon!

The day didn't start off too well - the alarm didn't go off and I woke up an hour later - which is 20 mins before DS has to be at his bus stop  Got him there on time thankfully (and fed and dressed first you'll be pleased to know :D ).

    Financials:
    - Bank account checked (tonight and not at my usual 6am)
    - Nectar value up to £28.01
    - Zapper labels printed, boxes sealed and taking those to Collect+ place in 10 mins with DS helping (as 2 boxes and heavy). DS's haul is £5.04, mine will be £20.63
    - P!necone emailed with a survey - done - £3 to Paypal due
    - 2nd P!necone survey came through - but it times out

First survey kept crashing, so I've had to close everything down and install another browser as Chrome have done something that stops the side scrollbar working . And try and remember passwords for sites like here . Taking a while to open everything back up, but I've waved goodbye to Chrome and welcomed Firefox.

3 of the 4 items on Bay of E have several watchers each but no bids yet. Am hopeful with still 6 days to go.

Dinner was LO beef brisket with mash, carrots, broccoli and yorkshire puds. Tomorrow is the final LO beef in a stir fry, though DS would like it with mash and veg again!

    And to finish - a NSD :j

Which leaves hair to colour, pamper time and more work to do!

Hope everyone has had a good Monday :)

    Afternoon Diary!

Doing my update early as forgot we are out tonight to a friends for their birthday - saves me posting their card too :D

Normality resumed in the household this morning with alarms and heating coming on as they should and everything progressing smoothly today (didn't mention that yesterday - I'd left the heating switched off so not only did we oversleep, but it was bloomin' cold when we did!).

Tea break time here, before I attack the next bit of work.

Dropped the Zapper boxes off last night and inspired by the idea of getting rid of more, I've input the codes for the remaining DVDs and DS's old games in Music Magpie - looks like another few quid, though need a couple more items to make the minimum 10. So I might go through my CDs and see if there is anything I'm prepared to part with. :o

    Financials:
Bank account checked - car payment has gone out and sig updated :j as well as the lower mortgage interest payment for this month :j
Nectar Adpoints - did them late last night, nothing extra there today at the moment - up to 47
Nectar canvass - need to check there when a bit more time
Nectar card - on £28.01 still
Nectar search - up to 86
Inbox Pounds - a couple of Confirm Email received clicks and it's up another 2p to £6.17
P!necone - after emailing them about the second survey, they sent me it again this morning - by time I got to it, it was unavailable, think I was just a bit late there. :(

Better crack on with work here - lots I want to get done before I go and meet DS from his school transport stop.

Hope everyone is having a good day and a NSD one here based on plans. :)

Well done on the NSD. Looks like everything is ticking away nicely for you. Looking forward to hearing how things go with Zapper - I've put a set of things together to send off too so I'll be interested in how it all goes.

Have a lovely evening out!

Will update on Zapper as I hear more.

I've not hearing such good things about Music Magpie, so am a little cynical about whether to send stuff to them or not. A case of try it out I guess.

Got lots of little things going on which in the absence of large stuff or quantities to sell, seems to be the way to go. A case of juggling and watching the little amounts add up. Quidco cashback payments will start coming through again next month - about £10 due between then and May.

I need to keep eBay up - found something else for there, but will wait until the next free listing weekend.

Roll on the car booting season - I think we'll do 3 or 4 and I'll be aiming to make £50-70 each one. Doable with lots of unused gifts that are too heavy to post, otherwise they'd be eBayed too :D

Dinner was the last of the LO beef brisket stir fried with some light soy, thrown together with microwaved peas and sweetcorn from the freezer, all mixed with some value noodles. It's just like duck in terms of how it shreds easily and we both enjoyed it, so that's another new thrown together meal that I can safely add to the meal plan :D

I think DB is here tomorrow evening, so had better see if he fancies his chances with DS's concoction of cheese, onion and potato rocks/patties :rotfl: Can always swap over with spag bol for a safer bet :D

Ooh I've also booked some more work in today for Saturday 1st Feb which is a nice extra bit on top of the Mon-Fri stuff.

Looking forward to our evening out, we'll be drinking tea too so I'll be very happy!

Had a lovely few hours at my friends, ate cake, drank tea and chewed the fat and came back with a bag of onions from her Dad's allotment :j

DB is chancing the cheese and onion pattie for dinner tomorrow, adding he'll get a take-away if it's that bad :rotfl:

Tonight I've done a few more bits and pieces to try and catch up a bit:

    - 2 Nectar surveys - 140 points
    - Nectar search max reached - 100 points
    - Inbox Pounds stuff - up to £6.97
    - freepostcodelottery checked

The Bench t-shirt arrived today and I've popped that away until June. Interestingly it has tracked through Nectar e-shops at 30 points and also Quidco. Bonus!

I need to get some more liquid for my e-cigs soon (coming up to 3 months), just have to avoid the new little shop that has opened up next door - unusual shoes that my friend buys lots of and I love but have managed to resist for 18 months because they're expensive.

Time for bed - Boing said Zebedee :D

Sounds like a lovely end to a productive day - with homegrown onions thrown in! Wonderful. G'night Ali!
