Thanks Alex, no idea what brought the migraine on - had porridge for breakfast and an apple mid morning, then bang it arrived, 20 mins later it's gone and no headache after thankfully. Just a tired feeling.
Have to admit with the Maths I've been out of my depth the last 6 months, though I got a B Grade at O Level, just don't even remember doing the stuff he's studying.
I'm in my PJs already, but bins emptied, second load of washing on, first now on the airer, towels changed and just about to empty the dishwasher. Gets me ahead for tomorrow.Back on the DFW Wagon:

I've been in PJ's since 5.30pm ha ha I did put up a washing and fill dishwasher and cook dinner. Then I stopped and haven't started again. Forgot I did 10 mins on bike but did turn up the torque tonight so am rather pleased with that5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Great stuff on the bike with increasing torque, you know when it's working and what feels right. My legs were like lead weights tonight - I went for 3km at each torque until 15km - the last 3 were pure torture :rotfl: Still 4 more torque increases to go on mine  plenty to aim forBack on the DFW Wagon:

ha ha I still have 7 so tons for me to aim for but truth be told the first day I went on the bike my legs went from under me after 1 minutes at torque 1 so I am making progress of sorts. Slowly slowly catchy monkey5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi Ali.......I'm sorry to hear of the migraine attack yesterday but it surely has to be a good sign if they are getting less frequent. I am sure you must be looking forward to seeing the specialist to get it sorted for good.
I hope you are feeling well today. I sooooo wish I had a mortgage payment lined up in my spreadsheets as good as the one you that you are shortly to send. I've been up since 6:00am playing with spreadsheets and I'm pretty happy with what I am doing.....but......just need some big mortgage payments in my life
. Its pretty much debt planning for me although I am going to pay my flexi-holiday pay to the mortgage this year so just worked out the net amount and increased the old SO

Morning Brogden
The migraines are about every 2 weeks at the moment - I'd have to read back in my diary to work out the frequency :rotfl:. No sign of my London appointment as yet, but generally feeling well daily since New Year which is great.
Love, love fiddling with spreadsheetsa free hobby
. The normal required mortgage capital payment is £650 so if I can get £200 as an OP in as well each month over the course of the year, that should take another 4 months off the end date. :j We'll have to see how it pans out with the garden works and holiday taking my hard earned
Great you've increased your SO - any little extra really does help, but you're right to focus on debt busting. I was there 2 years ago and made the debt priority and the mortgage got nothing except the monthly interest.
Brekkie to be made, last load of washing on then off to the hairdressers in a gale  Going to be fun staying upright!Back on the DFW Wagon:

Afternoon Ali!!
Sorry to hear about the migrainethey are no picnic, although I would be grateful if mine were just a 20 minute burst. I don't know how you kept on working! Superwoman... Hope your appointment comes through soon...
Ref maths... hated it at school and swore blind I would never do a sum again after I left school. Turns out you use it for a lot of things in life.... not least my job as an accounts admin for an IFA.
Enjoy your haircut!!

Thanks Lilty - fortunately the migraines are just the aura and blurriness type so go quite quick. Not sure how I got through last autumn really, but like you with your back, there's reason to have to keep going and manage as best we can.
:rotfl: at Maths and now working in the line you do. I don't mind sums and percentages, or doing my business accounts (and love all my spreadsheets), beyond that it's all a blurr.
Delighted I can now run my fingers and newly manicured nails through my hair to the very ends and out again - horrid ends all chopped off. With a bill of £30 at the end. But worth it to look and feel good and it was a lovely 2 hrs of pamper me time.
Enjoyed a nice nap this afternoon, batch chilli for dinner and some tv tonight. Another 9 miles on the bike/26 minutes cycled too. Been quite a relaxing day and so lovely not to have to rush. Have done the usual financial checks though little to report.
Tomorrow I've got a list of To Do's so will steadily work through those and then the pork joint that's out defrosting will be our Sunday roast with trimmings.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Boo to migraines, I get the zigzaggy flickery lines type. They last about 20 minutes and I can normally work through them, but they do leave me feeling blugh afterwards.Pay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022
